They will be forever linked because Billy Graham said he was Saved at a Billy Sunday revival. There are numerous books, videos, articles, etc…, from them and about them. Billy Sunday and Billy Graham are credited with reaching the most people in History. They Preached to more people than anyone else in their Revivals / Crusades. Under their Preaching Millions of people were supposedly Saved. I question that either one of them Saved even one person in their entire Lives.
Why? Neither on of them have a Christian Testimony. Billy Graham was a Southern Baptist. The Southern Baptist Church does not teach the Gospel Only for Salvation. They Teach the Gospel plus Works as does every other “Christian” Cult. The Southern Baptist Teach to be Saved you have to Repent of Sin. Repent of Sin is not in the Bible. Billy Graham was a very Good Southern Baptist. He taught you have to Repent of Sin to be Saved.
Billy Graham Hypocritically said repeatedly that Eternal life is a Gift, obtained by Grace Alone through Faith, and it sounds great what he said. But like All False Teachers he double Talks. Many False Teachers will at one time in their Ministry have taught Salvation correctly but later on they add Works to Salvation. Some False Teachers one day will teach Salvation Correctly than the next day they will add Works to Salvation. People will show me where they said Salvation correctly and I will show them where they taught Works. No Saved Pastor will ever teach Works as Part of Salvation.
Typically Billy Graham will Say: “Salvation is 100% Jesus without Works. We are Saved by Grace Without Works…” Then after he gains the crowd’s confidence, he changes direction and he starts adding requirements to be saved. Such as, to be Saved you have to change your behavior. You cannot continue in your current Sinful lifestyle and go to Heaven. You have to Turn From Your Sin before you can be Saved. You must openly confess Jesus Christ before people to be Saved. You have to fully Surrender to Christ’s Lordship to be Saved.. None of these things are the Gospel! Are part of Salvation. Are how a person is Saved. And he said you must CONTINUE doing these things to have Eternal Life! That is NOT the Gospel set forth in the Bible!
Billy Graham Like all Southern Baptist Preachers Taught you Have to Repent of Your Sins to Go to Heaven.
All Repent of your Sins False Teachers Falsely teach that the definition of Repent is to: Repent of Your Sin, To Turn From Sin. They Falsely Claim that this is not Works.
It is Works because according to them you must Agree to Stop Sinning before you can be Saved. Also they teach if you do not Ask For Forgiveness for every Sin that you commit, Another way they define Repentance, you will go to Hell. Turning From Sin is their illustration that to Be Saved You Have to Turn From Sin: Stop Sinning to Be Saved. This is 100% Works. Do not Forget Repent of Sin is not in the Bible.
The Bible Teaches that To Turn From Sin, To Repent of Sin, is Works.
Jonah 3:10 “And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.”
God saw their Works. What Works? That they turned from their Evil Way. Evil Way = Sin. God / the Bible Defines Repent, Turn From Sin as Works. It could not be any more Clear.
Also see God Repented (Changed His Mind) of the Evil, God was going to Kill them, that he had said he would do unto them; and he did it not. So God here Changed his mind, which is Repentance.

In addition to his religious aims, he helped shape the worldview of a huge number of people who came from different backgrounds. Leading them to find a relationship between the Bible and Contemporary Secular viewpoints. Billy Graham was particularly close to Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon B. Johnson (one of Graham’s closest friends), and Richard Nixon. He was also lifelong friends with Robert Schuller. Another televangelist and the founding pastor of the Crystal Cathedral. Billy Graham talked Schuller into starting his own television ministry. Graham’s Evangelism was appreciated by mainline Protestant and Catholic Denominations. He encouraged those mainline Protestants who were converted to his Evangelical message. To remain within or return to their mainline churches. Billy Graham embarrassed Catholicism he encouraged unity between Catholics and Protestants.

His Bio: “Billy Sunday ( William Ashley) (1862–1935) was an American athlete who, after being a popular outfielder in baseball’s National League during the 1880s, became the most celebrated and influential American evangelist during the first two decades of the 20th century.
Born into poverty in Iowa, Sunday spent some years in an orphanage before working at odd jobs and playing for local running and baseball teams. His speed and agility provided him the opportunity to play baseball in the major leagues for eight years, where he was an average hitter and a good fielder known for his base-running.
Converted to evangelical Christianity in the 1880s, Sunday left baseball for the Christian ministry. He gradually developed his skills as a pulpit evangelist in the Midwest and then, during the early 20th century, he became the nation’s most famous evangelist with his colloquial sermons and frenetic delivery. Sunday held widely reported campaigns in America’s largest cities, and he attracted the largest crowds of any evangelist before the advent of electronic sound systems. He also made a great deal of money and was welcomed into the homes of the wealthy and influential. Sunday was a strong supporter of Prohibition, and his preaching almost certainly played a significant role in the adoption of the Eighteenth Amendment in 1919.

IFB Baptists love Billy Sunday who was not even a Baptist he was a Presbyterian. Baptists Beliefs are a lot different than Presbyterian’s. Especially IFB Baptists that only use the KJV Bible. I always found it very Weird that in every IFB Church I have attended that Billy Sunday was a Huge Hero. After three years in Professional Baseball, he became a famous Revivalist Preacher. He held packed Tent Meetings across the country. He preached against the Consumption of Alcohol, gaining a reputation as a Temperance Leader.
The Presbyterian Church is not a Christian Church it teaches and has always taught Calvinism.
Billy Sunday as a Temperance Preacher preached against Sin!!! His messages were all: “Repent of your Sins before it is too Late. If your do not Turn Away from Alcohol, Adultery, Fornication, all of your Secret Sins you will Go to Hell. Turn or Burn. All Drunks will Go to Hell. Stop your Sinning or Go to Hell.”
This message is why IFB Churches Love Billy Sunday. Preaching against Everything is all the IFB does. The IFB invent Sins to Preach against. They Do not understand the Bible. People do not Go to Hell for their Sins. They Go to Hell for Rejecting Jesus.

Jesus died for All Sin. He paid for all the Sins of the Entire World.
It is impossible to go to Hell for Sin.
Jesus either Died for All Sin or he did not. If Jesus did not Die for All Sin like the Bible says than we are All Lost.

Billy Sunday passed out booklets that taught lordship Salvation at all of his Tent meetings. Billy Sunday was not a Christian.
The truth is what Billy Sunday taught about Salvation how to be Saved is not Biblical. I know you can find Billy Sunday saying a lot of Biblical things. He quoted lot of scriptures. The bottom line is he talked out of both sides of his mouth like all False Teachers. He contradicted himself constantly.

If you can sincerely answer “YES” to the foregoing questions, then you may know on the authority of God’s word that you are NOW a child of God.”
The Gospel, the only Way to be Saved according to the Bible is not included in Billy Sunday’s False Plan of Salvation.
Billy Sunday is teaching lordship salvation. Lordship salvation says before you can be Saved you must make Jesus the Lord of your Life. The Bible doesn’t say this.
Read the quote carefully. It tells you that you must Surrender to Jesus ( Also commonly said as: Surrender, give your Life to Jesus to be Saved. This is not Biblical. Jesus gave his Life to Save us. We do not give our Lives to Jesus to be Saved.) to be Saved.
It says you have to make A Public Confession of your Faith as part of your Salvation. The Bible doesn’t say that.
Billy says to be Saved you have to agree to strive to do his will in everything you do. That means: You Must Agree That You Will Strive Not To Sin as a Condition a Requirement for you to be Saved. This is not Biblical.
Nothing in his statement is Biblical. A person is Saved by Believing the Gospel Only not by anything in Billy Sunday’s False Plan of Salvation.
We are Saved by Believing the Gospel only, by Asking Jesus to Save us, Accepting Jesus Free Gift of Salvation.
