Saving Faith? What Does The Bible Say?

Faith. The Christian Faith.

Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Salvation happens immediately when a Person puts their Faith in Jesus Only to Save them.

Bible Salvation:

Acts 16:29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, 30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

The Roman Jailer, Realized he was Lost. He Asked how to be Saved. The Answer was Only: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.”

That is it. The end. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.”

The Answer was Not: “You Must Have Enough Faith, Saving Faith.” “You Must Repent of Your Sins.” “You Must Turn From Your Sins.” “You Must Forsake Sin.” “You Must Be Baptized.” “You Must Surrender Your Life to Jesus.” “You Must Give your Life to Jesus.”

Beware of All the above Extra Biblical, Unbiblical things False Teachers teach as being Required for Salvation.

Nothing is Required for Salvation other than to have the Faith to Ask Jesus to Save You, because You Believed, the Gospel Only for your Salvation.

Yes the Roman Jailer Believed the Gospel. Paul and Silas were in Jail for Preaching the Gospel. “Believe.” Believe What? On the Lord Jesus Christ.

What was Jesus Message? Jesus Speaking:

John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

In John 3:14 Jesus is describing how Moses put a serpent on a long staff and lifted it up so that whoever looked at it would Live. It is an Illustration of how Jesus would be Lifted up on the Cross, Crucified, to give Eternal Life to Everyone who Believes on Him.

Jesus Salvation message was the Gospel:

1st Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Again: Saving Faith?

You will Not find One passage in the Scripture that says this. Let’s Look at the Faith Jesus recognized, praised:

Luke 18:40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, 41 Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. 42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.

In this passage a man Believed that Jesus could heal him. He Asked Jesus to heal him. Just by Asking Jesus to Heal him was Faith enough for Jesus to Heal him.

42 …Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.

Thy Faith hath Saved thee. Over and over again in the Gospels people Asked to Be healed and Jesus healed them and he commented on their Faith. In every example their Faith equaled simply Believing that Jesus Could heal them.

Another Example:

Matthew 9:20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: 21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. 22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

If I may but touch his garment… What type of Faith is this? It is Simply Believing in Jesus.

Let’s Just Get Real. There is Belief, And Unbelief. This is how the Bible defines Belief. It takes Faith to Believe. The Bible doesn’t teach there is a Bar, a Level of Faith that a person must have to be Saved. It is enough to Simply Ask. “Jesus Please Save me.”

Proof this is True:

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

More Proof:

The Thief on the Cross.

The Thief on the Cross is Proof that if anyone Asks Jesus to Save them than that is All the Faith Required to be Saved:

Luke 23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. 40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

The Thief on the Cross he realized he was Lost, a Lost Sinner. He knew he deserved his punishment. He knew he was Guilty. He obviously heard of or witnessed Jesus Ministry.

The Thief on the Cross knew Jesus was on the Cross dying for the Sins of the World.

The Thief on the Cross: 42 “And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.”

That is it. The Thief on the Cross Asked Jesus to Save him and immediately Jesus Saved him.

Notice Jesus did Not Require ANYTHING from him. Jesus Did Not Say: “Sorry, you cannot Be Saved. You must be Baptized.” “Did you Repent of Your Sins?” “Did you Make me the Lord of Your Life.” “Did you Give your Life to Me?”

Salvation is having the Faith to Ask Jesus to Save you, Believing on Jesus plus Nothing else.

Review:

Does The Bible Teach: Saving Faith?

No. Saving Faith is a False Teaching by Lost Repent of Sin False Teachers.

These Heretics Do Everything they can to Make Sure as many people as Possible will go to Hell with them.

It is Not enough for them to Add Repent of Sin to the Bible, to Salvation, (Repent of Sin is Not in the Bible.) they have to Say:

You might Not Be Saved. Do you have Saving Faith? When you Believed on Jesus, did you do it with Enough Faith?”

Their False Doctrines are Not Only for People who attend their Churches. They push it online. In Numerous publications to infect countless Christians. Yes I mean many Christians get Saved, and they are truly Saved, but then they never Study the Bible for themselves.

They buy Books, watch YouTube Videos, read articles online to get their Bible Teachings from. They are foolish enough to think if someone is a well known Pastor than what he teaches must be True.

The False Doctrine, “Saving Faith” has many Christians doubting their Salvation.

Jesus warned us about False Teachers, False Pastors:

John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. 13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

This passage is talking about False Churches, False Pastors who are “Hirelings.”

The Bible definition of a Hireling: A labourer employed on hire for a limited time (Job 7:1; 14:6; Mark 1:20). His wages were paid as soon as his work was over “(Lev. 19:13). In the time of our Lord a day’s wage was a “penny” “(q.v.) i.e., a Roman denarius (Matt. 20:1-14).”

What Jesus is Saying is they are working to Make Money. They Do Not Care about anything but Money… The Bible Cross reference for John 10:11-13 is:

1st Peter 5:1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: 2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. 4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

Not for Filthy Lucre, Money. Jesus is warning that there are Hirelings that Do Not Care about the Church. They are Lost False Teachers who are in the Ministry to Deceive People with their False Doctrines and to Make Money.

Another Cross Reference:

Titus 1:10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: 11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake. 12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. 13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; 14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. 15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. 16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

A sure Sign of a False Pastor is their Wealth. The Christian Ministry is Not a Place to Make yourself Wealthy.

You cannot Trust anyone who is making huge Profits from their Ministry. Selling Books, Music, Videos for Profit is Not part of a Christian Ministry.

Finally:

John 20:24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. 26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. 27 Then saith he to Thomas, reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. 30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

This passage is called Doubting Thomas. Thomas refused to Believe that Jesus had Rose from the Dead. He would Not take the word of the other Disciples. He had to see for himself.

So to Say Thomas Lacked Faith is an understatement.

Jesus sums up what Faith it takes for a person to be Saved. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Faith in Jesus, to Believe the Gospel without Witnessing it is All that is Required to be Saved.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

The Faith for Salvation requires Believing on Jesus without Physically seeing him.

Hebrews 11:1 Tells us that Faith has Substance and Evidence. So the Christian Faith is Not a Blind Faith. The Bible is the Substance and the Evidence for the Christian Faith to exist.
