Beware Nearly Everything You Have Heard about the Heart is A Lie
Jeremiah 17:9 “The heartisdeceitful above allthings, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”
Romans 1:25 “Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.”
What is said in Most Churches, in the Media about the Heart are Lies.
Sayings of the Heart…
There are Hundreds of Unbiblical Quotes about the Heart that are part of Popular Culture.
Sadly, People Believe these LIES and Repeat them Constantly because they keep hearing them in Everyday Conversation, in the Media.
Repetition is the #1-way Lies are Taught and Learned.
People Falsely think something is True, is a Fact because they keep hearing it over and over and over again.
Very Popular, False, Unbiblical. Well Known Sayings about the Heart:
“Let Your Heart Be Your Guide.”
“A Heart Felt Decision.”
“Follow Your Heart.”
“Your Heart Knows.”
“Out Of the Goodness of Your Own Heart.”
“Let Your Heart Decide.
“Decisions of the Heart.”
“The Heart Wants What It Wants.”
“Don’t Deny Your Heart.”
“I Gave My Life, My Heart to Jesus”
“I Asked Jesus to come Into My Heart.”
“Ask Jesus to come Into Your Heart to Be Saved.”
“Invite Jesus to Come into Your Heart, Into Your Life, Right Now to be Saved.”
Counterfeit Christianity Is Full of Unbiblical Speech, often used, Self-Righteous Sayings:
I have heard this Countless times in Church / From Church Members:
“We Made a Hard Heart Felt Decision.”
This is an example of Church Speak.
Like Doctors, Lawyers, any Profession. “Christians” / “Pseudo-Christianity” have their own Language.
Church Speak is very Phony and Pretentious.
“We Made a Hard Heart Felt Decision.” This is said a thousand times a Day by “Christians”.
The Bible Says:
Jeremiah 17:9 “The heartisdeceitful above allthings, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”
All of the above Quotes, that I have heard All of my Life in some form or another, are Unbiblical.
Pastors in False Counterfeit Christianity (Nearly Every Church) Say Very Satanic Unbiblical things about the Heart:
“Give Your Life, Your Heart to Jesus to Be Saved.”
“Ask Jesus to come into Your Heart to Be Saved.”
“Invite Jesus to come into Your Heart, Into Your Life, Right Now to be Saved.”
This is Not How to Be Saved.
No place in the Bible Does it Say:
“Give Your Life, Your Heart to Jesus to Be Saved.”
“Ask Jesus to come into Your Heart to Be Saved.”
“Invite Jesus to come into Your Heart, Into Your Life, Right Now to be Saved.”
It is meaningless to Give Your Heart, Your Life to Jesus. Giving your Heart and Life to Jesus is Not in the Bible as a Requirement for Salvation. It is Works Salvation.
Jesus, He Gave His Life for us. He Sacrificed Himself on the Cross to Pay the Penalty for All of our Sins. Jesus, No Where in the Bible says Give your Heart, Give your Life to Me so you can Be Saved.
The Teaching: You Have to Give your Heart, Give Your Life to Jesus to be Saved it is Saying that Jesus shed Blood, His Sacrifice on the Cross is Not Good Enough to Save You. If you Believe this False Gospel, you are Trying to Work your Way to Heaven.
Salvation is 100% Jesus. 0% Your Human Works.
What the Bible Says about Salvation and the Heart:
Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
A Person is Saved By Believing on Jesus with their Heart!!!
The Below Scripture Illustrates that The Heart is Where our Beliefs are Held in our Bodies, in our Soul’s, in our Spirit’s. The Heart Does More than Just Pump Blood. It is where our Emotions come from where All of our Beliefs are Stored.
Hebrews 3:12 “Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.”
I hope you Understand this Clear Scripture. A Heart can Be Evil or Good. A Good Heart Believes the Gospel. An Evil Heart is Full of UNBELIEF. It Does Not Believe the Gospel, God’s Word.
Asking Jesus into Your Heart is Meaningless, it is Not in the Bible.
Salvation Requires Believing the Gospel. This is What Believing on Jesus is.
Salvation Requires Belief in the Word of God, that is What the Above Passage says. Belief in the Scriptures Specifically: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ with Your Heart.
The Following Passage Tells How a Man was Saved by Believing on Jesus Only:
Acts 16:25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. 27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. 28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. 29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, 30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. 32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. 34 And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.
Notice the Jailer was Saved by Simply Believing the Word of God, that Paul and Silas had told Him. He Believed the Gospel. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ = Believing the Gospel.
After the Jailer and his Family had Believed the Gospel then they were Baptized. Water Baptism Does Not Save a person. Water Baptism happens after a Person is Already Saved. It is a Symbol of the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is just a Public Profession of Salvation.
The Gospel:
1st Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Churches are Teaching You have to Work Your Way to Heaven:
Giving Your Heart, Your Life to Jesus is Being Taught in Most Churches.
They Also say Ask Jesus into Your Heart to be Saved. That is Meaningless Because it Does Not Require You to Believe the Gospel.
When I Ask People If they are Sure they will go to Heaven, the People who said they were Saved usually said:
“Yes, I Know I am Saved. I Asked Jesus to Come into My Heart, Into My Life.” “I Repented of My Sins.”
I Ask them what does that Even Mean? They just Look at me Puzzled.
After a moment or two. I would Say: “From the Bible What are You Trusting in to Get you to Heaven.”
A typical Answer: “I cannot Quote the Bible. But I know what it says.” Me: “Sure. I have a Bible right here. Can you show me in the Bible How to Be Saved?”
At this Point some people will Just Explode on me:
“OK! You are Just a Self-Righteous, Bible Thumper! Everyone Doesn’t have a Bible Degree! Most Christians cannot take a Bible and just like that show you!”
Most “Christians” I have found get Very Defensive and Angry Quickly when I just Ask them to Please explain to me Using the Bible how they were Saved.
Yes, there are some that can Quote the Bible and Correctly use the Bible to Explain how they were Saved. But that is a very Tiny Percentage of People.
To the People that didn’t end the Conversation I would say this to them:
“OK, I understand. You told me You Know for Sure You are Saved. You must Believe Something Biblical to Back up your Confidence in Saying I Know for Sure that I am Saved. Please Just explain to me in your own Words. Why Jesus should Let you into Heaven?”
The Typical Reply: “I already said that I Asked Jesus into My Heart and into My Life and that I Repented of My Sins.”
I reply: “That is Not in the Bible Anywhere. I know that Most Churches teach this but that is Not what the Bible Teaches. What does it even mean that you Asked Jesus into your Heart and Into Your Life?”
“Christians” Hate to be Questioned like this… If I get any reply at All it is Usually:
“I Asked Jesus to Be the Lord of My Life. I Let Jesus Take the Wheel. Jesus Guides My Life Now. Before I Asked Jesus into My Heart and Life I was In Control, Now Jesus is In Control. Now I am a Good Person, I am a Changed Person. I am No Longer a Sinner.”
The Answers I get vary a bit but the Major thing they Say is that By Asking Jesus into their Heart and Life they Became a Good Person that is Not a Sinner. They Don’t think they Sin anymore.
This is Exactly the Teaching you will Hear from False Pastors / Teachers / Churches.
People cannot use the Bible to Back these False Teachings up Because these False Gospel’s are Not in the Bible.
Very Few of these people will Let me Show them in the Bible How to Be Saved.
“Excuse Me!!!! I am Already Saved!!!! I Do Not Need You to Show me Anything!!!!
These People have Satan inside of them, Keeping them from even Looking at the Bible.

Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. 2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. 3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. 4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God. 5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them. 6 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
The Heart is Where our Emotions come From, where we Keep, Hold, and Decide What are Beliefs are.
Our Brain is Not the Only Part of Our Bodies that Thinks, Our Heart Not Only Thinks, but It is also where All of our Beliefs come from and are Stored.
Proverbs 4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. 24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. 25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. 26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. 27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
If you understand this Passage, you will see that the Heart is what Controls your Emotions. When a Person is Happy, Sad, Angry, Full of Different Emotions that is coming from the Heart. When you Believe Something that Comes from the Heart. When you make a Decision that Comes from Your Heart.
Psalms 119:1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. 2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. 3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. 4 Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. 5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! 6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. 7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. 8 I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly. 9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. 10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. 11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. 12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes. 13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth. 14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. 15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. 16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
Luke 2:51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
Job 22:22 Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.
Psalms 37:31 The law of his God isin his heart; none of his steps shall slide.
See with Your Heart You Can Store God’s Word. Your Heart Controls where you Decide to Travel. It Controls Your Decisions.
John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
John 14:27 shows that your Heart has Emotions: Troubled, Afraid.
Colossians 3:15 “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.”
Peace is an Emotion, it means: to Be Calm, Do Not Be Worried, Do Not Be Afraid.
Proverbs 17:22 “A merry heart doeth goodlikea medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”
Emotion: A Merry Heart is a Happy Heart.
Proverbs 12:25 “Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.”
Emotions: Heaviness is to Be Sad, Unhappy. Glad is another word for Happy. These words describe Emotions in the Heart.
Proverbs 15:13 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. 14 The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness. 15 All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.
Emotions: Merry, Cheerful, Sorry. This verse shows that the Heart understands which shows that the Heart Thinks. It says the Heart looks for Knowledge, also a function of thinking Storing information. Looking is the Heart Controlling what you do.
The Bible is full of Hundreds of Verses that prove that the Heart is where we Get All of our Emotions.
A Saved Person A Christian has A Good Heart. But Even with A Good Heart You Can Never Trust Your Heart the Bible makes this Clear. This Blog has many verses in it that makes it Clear you cannot Trust your Heart. I think a Christian’s Heart moves between Good and Bad depending on how much we are Reading the Bible and Serving Jesus. It is Possible No Matter how Devout we are our Heart’s still will drift from Good to Bad and back and forth.
Just Look at the Apostle Paul for more Proof that we can Never Trust our Heart. We Know Paul had a Good Heart yet, he Still Struggled with Sin:
Romans 7:11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. 12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. 13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. 14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
How Can we Control our Emotions?
I do not think from what the Bible Teaches that we can Totally Control our Emotions. But we Do Not need to have Out of Control Emotions. People who are Out of Control are Always Emotional. Some people are always Angry at Everything. They are Never Happy. This is Not Acceptable or Necessary. Some People are Always Worried this is Not Acceptable or Necessary either. These Emotions can be Controlled to where they are Not Omnipresent.
Staying in God’s Word and Doing God’s Will is the Best Way to Control your Emotions:
Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4 Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
The Above Passage is telling us that to have the Fruit of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance we must Live in and Walk in the Spirit. In other words, you have to be Walking with and Serving Jesus to have the Ability to Control Your Emotions to Have Joy in your Life.
Philippines 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
