The Bible, Biblically Explaining: Luke 9:23 …Take Up His Cross Daily, And Follow Me

Luke 9:23 is One of the Most Misused Bible Verses. It is Falsely Used to Teach Works Salvation.

Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Typically Online, On Social Media like X, Facebook, etc…, You will see a Meme, a Picture with half of the verse Quoted.

…let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”

The Meaning of the Poster is Clear: You have to Work Your Way to Heaven. That is Not the Meaning of this Verse. The Opposite is True.

I have Confronted Countless of These Lost False Messengers of Satan who Throw around Bible Verses to Push their False Gospel of Works. Typically they Do Not Deny Pushing Works Salvation. Although, Some will half heartedly Deny they are pushing Works, then admit they Don’t have any Faith in Jesus at All. They will say: “I am Being Positive…” Basically: “The Truth is Relative… All roads lead to Heaven… Faith in Anything will Get You to Heaven…”

The Full Context of Luke 9:23:

Luke 9:18 And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am? 19 They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again. 20 He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God. 21 And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing; 22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day. 23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. 25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? 26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels. 27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

Jesus Message in Luke Chapter 9 is the Gospel.

1st Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

There is Only One way to Be Saved in the Bible and it is by Believing the Gospel Only for Your Salvation.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Salvation is Only Through Jesus. The Gospel of Christ, IS THE POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION TO EVERY ONE THAT BELIEVETH!!!!!!!!!!!

False Teachers Lie and Say that the Bible Teaches Works for Salvation. Some will Say that in the Old Testament Everyone was Saved by Faith and Works.

A Popular False Teaching Going around is that Jesus Taught Works Salvation. That his Message was 100% Works. That the Apostle Paul is the Only One that Taught Salvation by the Gospel Only.

Beware of the Worship of Paul. You will Find this False Gospel in Most IFB Baptist Churches. These Counterfeit Churches are almost All Calvinist Churches. Their Bible Twisting is so Bad they cannot keep their stories straight. They constantly Contradict themselves. They are EVIL DEVILS that Deny Jesus.

Like All False Teachers / False Religions they Depend on You to be Biblically Ignorant.

In Galatians Chapter 1 Paul Refutes these False Teachers.

Galatians 1:1 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) 2 And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia: 3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: 5 To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. 6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Salvation Message was the Gospel Only:

John 3:10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? 13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Jesus Clearly Taught the Gospel. Jesus Taught Salvation is to Believe on / in Him Only to Save You.

False Teachers, Deceivers, LIARS Teach that Jesus Did Not teach the Gospel.

Jesus Message was Plainly the Gospel: That he would Die on the Cross, be Buried and that he would Rise from the Dead 3 Days Later to Pay for the Sins of the World.

Jesus Message was: THE CROSS, THE CROSS, THE CROSS…

1st Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. 22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: 23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence. 30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

The Bible Does Not Contradict itself!!!!

The Bible from the Beginning to the End. From Genesis to Revelation Teaches Only One Plan of Salvation, the Gospel! The Preaching of the Cross, for Salvation!!!!

Jesus Constantly Warned and Foretold that False Teachers would Come into the Church and they would Deceive Many with their False Gospel, their False Salvation of Works.

Right here in 1st Corinthians Paul is Exposing False Teachers:

1st Corinthians 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. 12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? 14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; 15 Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. 16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other. 17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

Notice also that Paul makes it Clear that Water Baptism is Not Part of the Gospel and it is Not Required for Salvation.

17 “For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.”

False Teachers Twist the Bible to Teach their False Gospels.

These Counterfeit Christians Take Verses that are Not Salvation Verses and Falsely Claim they are Salvation Verses.

Luke 9:23 IS NOT A SALVATION VERSE!!!!

Jesus is talking to his 12 Disciples. After Jesus Preached the Gospel to them: He had just told them how he would Die… “If any man will come after me…”

If any man will come after me…”

In Luke 9:23 Jesus is telling his Disciples:

After I Suffer All of these things and Rise from the Dead… “If any man will come after me…” If you are to Follow me: “let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”

Jesus is Telling them Plainly to Follow Me You have to: DENY YOURSELF DAILY. YOU HAVE TO CARRY YOUR CROSS DAILY.

Jesus Message is if you are Really Going to be One of my Disciples this is what I Expect of You.

Notice Jesus Did Not say to them To Be SAVED… This is how You are Saved… This is Salvation… No Jesus Did Not Put Salvation in Luke 9:23!!!!

Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Luke 9:23 was Jesus Telling his 12 Disciples what he Expects of them After He has Died for the Sins of the World. Luke 9:23 IS NOT A SALVATION PASSAGE!!!!

The Lord Jesus Christ His Sufferings, His Passion, His Death, Burial, and Resurrection.

Good Friday, Resurrection Sunday, (Easter) The Lord Jesus Christ His Sufferings, His Passion, His Death, Burial, and Resurrection Should Not be a Once or Twice a Year Observance it Should Be Daily in the Front of Our Minds.

People think More About: Their High School Graduation, Their Marriage Day, The Birth of their Kids etc…, than The Lord Jesus Christ, His Sufferings, His Passion, His Death, Burial, and Resurrection. Those things about your life are Fine and Good to Think about but to Place them ahead of Jesus Sacrifices to Save us is Wrong.

The Truth is Nearly Everyone, I am talking about People who Never miss one Church Service, they Forget about Jesus as soon as they Leave the Church. Sadly, Church is just a Social Function, a Place to Socialize with people from your community.

Matthew 20:19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

Jesus Suffered more than our Human Minds can Ever Comprehend, to Save the Entire world from the penalty of our Sins.

1st John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

1st Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Jesus’s Physical Sufferings:

The Agony of Love

Medical Aspects of The Crucifixion:

by Dr. Mark Eastman • April 1, 1998:

“After Jesus was examined and declared to be without fault by the Roman Procurator Pontius Pilate, he delivered Him to be judged by the assembled crowd. When the opportunity arose to decide the destiny of Jesus, the crowd and the Jewish leadership cried out saying, “Crucify Him, Crucify Him.” 1

The horrifying events of the next six hours were preceded by the simple words:

Then delivered he Him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.” John 19:16

Great Drops of Blood

The Physical Sufferings of Jesus began in the Garden of Gethsemane on the evening before His Crucifixion. While the disciples slept, the Gospel of Luke records that The LORD:

being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.”2

The notion that someone could actually sweat blood seems contrived. However, there is a rare but recognized condition called hematohydrosis, in which capillary blood vessels that feed the sweat glands rupture, causing them to express blood. This usually occurs under conditions of extreme physical or emotional stress. Jesus wasn’t sweating blood because he was afraid of the physical pain of the cross. Indeed, the book of Hebrews tells us that Jesus looked forward to the cross:

Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2

The Trials:

After Jesus’ arrest they led Him away to the High Priest Caiaphas, where the Scribes and elders were assembled. During this inquisition we are told that:

some began to spit on Him, and to blindfold Him, and to beat Him, and to say to Him, ‘Prophesy!’ And the officers struck Him with the palms of their hands.”3

Beatings about the face received by a blindfolded individual cause even worse Trauma because the Victim cannotroll with the punches.”

In the hours that followed Jesus received two additional Beatings at the hands of Roman Soldiers. 4 Severe Disfigurements of the face would certainly have resulted from the Brutal Treatment. It is likely that his Eyelids were Swollen Shut as a result of such Vicious Beatings. This was done in fulfillment of Isaiah:

Isaiah 52:13-14: Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. As many were astonished at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men.

The Scourging of Jesus:

After His trial before Pontius Pilate, Jesus was Scourged (Flogged with a Whip) by the Roman guards. This process typically involved a Whip with numerous leather thongs, 18-24 inches long, with Bits of Metal, Bone or Glass Embedded in the Leather. At times they would use an iron rod to beat the prisoner. According to Jewish custom, a prisoner was usually Flogged 39 Times (Forty minus one was a sign of Jewish mercy!)

Scourging was an Extreme form of Punishment. Many People Died from the Scourging:

The skin on the Victim’s Back was usually Shredded, thus Exposing the underlying Muscle and Skeletal structures. Severe Blood Loss and Dehydration were the Rule. Many Victims Died from such Scourging.

After the Scourging of Jesus, the Roman soldiers Beat Him a second time with their Hands and with a Reed. Then they put on him a “Crown of Thorns.”

Jesus had not drunk since the night before, so the combination of the Beatings, The Crown of Thorns, and the Scourging’s would have set into motion An Irreversible process of Severe Dehydration and Cardiorespiratory Failure. All of this was done so that the prophecy of Isaiah would be fulfilled:

I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.” Isaiah 50:6

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

Jesus Crucifixion Examined:

Crucifixion was invented by the Persians between 300-400 b.c. It was “Perfected” by the Romans in the first century b.c. It is arguably the Most Painful Death ever invented by man and is where we get our term “Excruciating.” It was reserved primarily for the most Vicious of Criminals.

Figure 1

The most common device used for Crucifixion was a Wooden Cross, which consisted of an upright pole permanently fixed in the ground with a removable crossbar, usually weighing between 75-100 lbs. Victims of Crucifixion were typically Stripped Naked and their clothing divided by the Roman guards.

In Jesus’ case this was done in fulfillment of a Prophecy in Psalms:

Psalm 22:18, “They divide My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.”

As a gesture of “Roman kindness” the prisoner was offered a mixture of vinegar (gall) and wine as a mild anesthetic. This anesthetic was refused by Jesus. 5 Consequently, Jesus He bore it all! The Apostle Peter stated of Jesus:

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.1st Peter 2:24

The Victim was then placed on his back, arms stretched out and Nailed to the Cross Bar. The Nails, which were generally about 7-9 inches long, were placed between the bones of the forearm (the radius and ulna) and the small bones of the hands (the carpal bones). (Figure 1.)

The placement of the nail at this point had several effects. First it ensured that the victim would indeed hang there until dead. Secondly, a nail placed at this point would sever the largest nerve in the hand called the median nerve.

The severing of this nerve is a medical catastrophe. In addition to severe burning pain the destruction of this nerve causes permanent paralysis of the hand. Furthermore, by nailing the victim at this point in the wrist, there would be minimal bleeding and there would be no bones broken! Thus, scriptures were fulfilled:

I can count all my bones: they look and stare upon me.” Psalm 22:17

He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.” Psalm 34:20

The positioning of the feet is probably the most critical part of the mechanics of crucifixion. First the knees were flexed about 45 degrees and the feet were flexed (bent downward) an additional 45 degrees until they were parallel the vertical pole. An iron nail about 7-9 inches long was driven through the feet between the 2nd and 3rd metatarsal bones. In this position the nail would sever the dorsal pedal artery of the foot, but the resultant bleeding would be insufficient to cause death.

The Catastrophic Result:

The resulting position on the cross sets up a Horrific Sequence of events which results in A Slow, Painful Death. Having been Pinned to The Cross, the Victim now has An Impossible Position to Maintain. (Figure 2)

With the knees flexed at about 45 degrees, the Victim must bear his weight with the muscles of the thigh. However, this is an almost impossible task-try to stand with your knees flexed at 45 degrees for 5 minutes. As the strength of the legs gives out, the weight of the body must now be borne by the arms and shoulders. The result is that within a few minutes of being placed on the cross, the shoulders will become dislocated. Minutes later the elbows and wrists become dislocated. The result of these dislocations is that the arms are as much as 6-9 inches longer than normal.

Figure 2

With the arms dislocated, considerable body weight is transferred to the chest, causing the rib cage to be elevated in a state of perpetual inhalation. Consequently, in order to exhale the Victim must push down on his feet to allow the rib muscles to relax. The problem is that the Victim cannot push very long because the legs are extremely fatigued. As time goes on, the Victim is less and less able to bear weight on the legs, causing further dislocation of the arms and further raising of the chest wall, making breathing more and more difficult.

The result of this process is a series of Catastrophic Physiological effects. Because the Victim cannot maintain adequate ventilation of the lungs, the blood oxygen level begins to Diminish, and the blood carbon dioxide (CO2) level begins to rise. This rising CO2 level stimulates the heart to beat faster in order to increase the delivery of oxygen and the removal of CO2.

However, due to the pinning of the Victim and the limitations of oxygen delivery, the Victim cannot deliver more oxygen and the rising heart rate only increases oxygen demand. So, this process sets up a Vicious cycle of increasing oxygen demand-which cannot be met-followed by an ever-increasing heart rate. After several hours the heart begins to fail, the lungs collapse and fill up with fluid, which further decreases oxygen delivery to the tissues. The blood loss and Hyperventilation combines to cause Severe Dehydration. That’s why Jesus said, “I thirst.”6

Over a period of several hours the combination of collapsing lungs, a Failing Heart, Dehydration, and the inability to get adequate oxygen supplies to the tissues cause the Eventual Death of the Victim. The Victim, in effect, Cannot Breathe Properly and Slowly Suffocates to Death. In cases of Severe Cardiac Stress, such as Crucifixion, a Victim’s Heart can even Burst. This process is called “Cardiac Rupture.” Therefore, it could be said that Jesus died of a “Broken Heart!”

To slow the process of Death the Executioners put a small wooden seat on the cross, which would allow the victim the privilege of bearing his weight on his buttocks. The effect of this was that it could take up to nine days to die on a cross.

When the Romans wanted to Expedite Death, they would simply break the legs of the Victim, causing him to suffocate in a matter of minutes.

At three o’clock in the afternoon Jesus said, “Tetelastai,” meaning “It is finished.” Then He gave up the Ghost. When the soldiers came to Jesus to break His legs, He was already Dead. Not a bone of His was broken!

From the Cradle to the Cross:

Jesus was born to die.

The Old Testament foretold Jesus Birth:

Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Jesus Crucifixion was foretold in the Old Testament:

Isaiah Chapter 53:

1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

The Passion of the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords:

Luke 22:1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover. 2 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people. 3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. 4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them. 5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money. 6 And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude. 7 Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed. 8 And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat. 9 And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare? 10 And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in. 11 And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? 12 And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready. 13 And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover. 14 And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him. 15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: 16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. 17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: 18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. 19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. 20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. 21 But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table. 22 And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed! 23 And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing. 24 And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest. 25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. 26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. 27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth. 28 Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations. 29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; 30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. 33 And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death. 34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me. 35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. 36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. 37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. 38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough. 39 And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him. 40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. 41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, 42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. 43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. 44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. 45 And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow, 46 And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. 47 And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him. 48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss? 49 When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword? 50 And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear. 51 And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him. 52 Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves? 53 When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness. 54 Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest’s house. And Peter followed afar off. 55 And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them. 56 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him. 57 And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not. 58 And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not. 59 And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean. 60 And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew. 61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. 62 And Peter went out, and wept bitterly. 63 And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him. 64 And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee? 65 And many other things blasphemously spake they against him. 66 And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying, 67 Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe: 68 And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go. 69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God. 70 Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am. 71 And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.

Luke 23:1 And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate. 2 And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King. 3 And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it. 4 Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man. 5 And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place. 6 When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean. 7 And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time. 8 And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him. 9 Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing. 10 And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him. 11 And Herod with his men of war set him at nought, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate. 12 And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves. 13 And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people, 14 Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him: 15 No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him. 16 I will therefore chastise him, and release him. 17 (For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.) 18 And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas: 19 (Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.) 20 Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them. 21 But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. 22 And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go. 23 And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed. 24 And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required. 25 And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will. 26 And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus. 27 And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him. 28 But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. 29 For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck. 30 Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us. 31 For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry? 32 And there were also two others, malefactors, led with him to be put to death. 33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. 34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. 35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. 36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, 37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself. 38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, This Is The King Of The Jews. 39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. 40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. 44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. 45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. 46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. 47 Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man. 48 And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned. 49 And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things. 50 And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just: 51 (The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God. 52 This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. 53 And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid. 54 And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on. 55 And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. 56 And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.

Luke 24:1 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. 3 And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: 5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, 7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. 8 And they remembered his words, 9 And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest. 10 It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles. 11 And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not. 12 Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass. 13 And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs. 14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened. 15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. 16 But their eyes were holden that they should not know him. 17 And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad? 18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days? 19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people: 20 And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him. 21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done. 22 Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre; 23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive. 24 And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not. 25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. 28 And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further. 29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them. 30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. 31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. 32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? 33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them, 34 Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon. 35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread. 36 And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. 37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. 38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? 39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. 40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet. 41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? 42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. 43 And he took it, and did eat before them. 44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, 46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: 47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And ye are witnesses of these things. 49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. 50 And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. 51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven. 52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy: 53 And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

Salvation is Belief in Jesus Only to Save You. Belief in the Gospel Only to Save You:

Jesus Suffered, Bled, He Died in Your Place to Save you from an Eterntiy in Hell the Lake of Fire. Please Believe on Jesus if you have not. Ask Jesus to Save you.

1.) Jesus Christ DIED on the Cross for All of Our Sins Past, Present and Future Sins. He Died for all the Sins of the Entire World.

2.) Jesus was BURIED.

3.) Jesus bodily ROSE from the Dead on the 3rd day.

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans Chapter 10 Verses 8-13 Gives us a Perfect Salvation Prayer to Jesus. Please Pray and Ask Jesus to Save You Right Now.

****Note Repent of Sin**** Is Not in the Bible. It has No Part in Salvation. It is Works.

Explaining: Lent, Good Friday, Easter / Passover.

How the Pagan Celebrations of Lent, Good Friday and Easter started in “Christian” Churches:

The Short Direct Answer is the Holy Roman Catholic Church is the Cause of this.

Paganism is Deeply Rooted in the Christian Celebration of Lent, Good Friday, Easter / Passover.

The Truth is Almost Every so-called Christian Church is Pagan in its Origin.

Even Many Actual Christian Churches are Full of Paganism.

All Protestant Churches came out of the Holy Roman Catholic Church. Even Non-Protestant Churches like Baptist Churches have Adopted much of the Catholic Paganism.

The Birth of the Holy Roman Catholic Church:

Constantine the Emperor of Rome wanted to Control the Christian Church, so he Suddenly had a Vision (If this Vision did happen it was From Satan Not from God.) that is explained in the Below link. (I do Not Endorse the Below Websites. I could Not include the Needed information in this Blog Alone, so I am including links that fairly accurately record the True History of what I am talking about.)

Immediately After Jesus’ Crucifixion Rome went to War Against the Christian Church. Christians were Murdered on site. They were Famously Murdered for Entertainment by Gladiators, by Animals too. This Continued on until Constantine. I Do Not Believe that Constantine had a Vision at All. I Believe that he realized that the Persecution of the Christian Church was just making it Grow.

Constantine / Satan Created the Pagan Holy Roman Catholic Church so he could Destroy, Pervert the Christian Church. He Did Not Convert to Christianity. There is Nothing Christian About the Roman Catholic Church.

What Constantine did was to put Nearly Every Roman God and Goddess and All of the Pagan Roman Celebrations / Holidays into his Creation of the Holy Roman Catholic Church. The True Christian Church was Never part of this Holy Roman Catholic Church.

Jesus’ Warning:

Jesus Warned in his Ministry of False Teachers. During Jesus Ministry there were False Teachers already Falsely Claiming to be a part of Jesus Ministry. Matthew Chapter 7 is about this:

https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Matthew-Chapter-7/

The “Christian” Churches that Folded into Constantine’s Holy Roman Catholic Church they were Not Actual Christian Churches.

The True Christian Church was an underground Church that lived in the Catacombs for example. The Catholic Church was Not Christian it was / is a Counterfeit Church. Protestant Churches are Catholic Lite False Churches. They all Kept a lot of the Pagan practices of the Catholic Church as well as False Catholic Doctrine.

The Actual Christian Church of Jesus, his Disciples had No Part in the Catholic Church / Protestant Churches.

Today’s Counterfeit Christian Churches:

https://plain-talk-christian-ministries.com/?p=2016

Christian” Churches are Simply Mostly Not Christian at All. How “Christians” Celebrate Easter, Christmas and Various other Holidays is No Different then Non-Christians. This is a Clear indication that the Churches these “Christians” Attend are Not Christian Churches at All.

Christians” Have No Problem with Sunrise Easter Sunday Service, (The Sunrise Service is to Worship the Sun an Ancient Pagan Practice. It is Not Christian to Stand and Watch the Sunrise…) Easter Eggs, Easter Bunnies, Easter Baskets, the entire Secular Non-Christian Pagan Celebration of Easter. Their main Excuse is that they Do Not Want Their Children to miss out on anything in Life…

These Counterfeit Christians use their Children to Justify them for being Pagans.

How can Any Sane Adult Not see how Ludicrous it is to use Easter Eggs, Easter Bunnies, etc…, in the Celebration of Easter?

They say: “I Will Not Deprive my Children of the Easter Traditions I had while growing up. I Will Not Rob them of the Joy of: coloring Easter Eggs, going on Easter Egg Hunts. The Excitement of Getting an Easter Basket.

The same type of Ridiculous Excuses are used for the Pagan Celebrations of Christmas and Halloween too.

Parents Number One Responsibility is to Protect their Children.

Lying to Children about Christmas: Santa (Satan) Claus, Easter: Easter Bunnies, Halloween: Witches, Pumpkins, Skeletons etc…, the Tooth Fairy and the Numerous Other Lies Parents Tell / Teach their Children, Only Teaches Children that their Parents are Liars.

The Excuses Given by these Counterfeit Christians for being Pagans, Lying to their Children are Insane. One of the Worst: “It is Just Harmless Fun. I turned out alright…”

No, it is Not OK to Lie to Children. Lying to anyone Especially Children, is very Harmful, and Hurts them Emotionally. It teaches them that it is OK to Lie. This is where Parents teach their Kids about White Lies: “I really Did Not Lie to You, it is All just a part of the Holiday. You would Not have had the Enjoyment other children get if you knew the Truth…”

A Brief History of the Pagan Origin of Easter:

According to some scholars, such as Dr. Tony Nugent, teacher of Theology and Religious Studies at Seattle University, and Presbyterian minister, the Easter story comes from the Sumerian legend of Damuzi (Tammuz) and his wife Inanna (Ishtar), an epic myth called “The Descent of Inanna” found inscribed on cuneiform clay tablets dating back to 2100 BC. When Tammuz dies, Ishtar is grief–stricken and follows him to the underworld. In the underworld, she enters through seven gates, and her worldly attire is removed. “Naked and bowed low” she is judged, killed, and then hung on display. In her absence, the earth loses its fertility, crops cease to grow, and animals stop reproducing. Unless something is done, all life on earth will end.

Easter is a Pagan Celebration of Pagan Gods and Goddesses. It is a Celebration of Fertility.

There is too Much Pagan History to go over About Easter so I am going to include Links below so you can see for yourself (Most People Do Not Even Deny that Easter is Pagan… This is Very Disturbing that so Called Christians Do Not Care that they are being Pagans by Celebrating the Secular Easter Holiday.) the Historical Evidence that Easter is Pagan. The Easter Celebrations in “Christian” Churches is Pagan.

Please Do Not Ignore any of the Links I am including in this post. I Do Not endorse these websites. But I do think they give a Fairly Accurate History of the Origin of Easter. These Links are Not from Christians. I am posting these links only to show the Historical Facts about the Pagan Celebration of Easter.

The Celebration of Lent:

In short Lent was completely made up. It does Not have a Christian Origin. It was invented by the Catholic Church. It is a 40-day period of time that is part of the Catholic / Protestant celebration of Easter. The Below link is a Catholic Explanation of Lent:

https://theconversation.com/what-are-the-origins-of-lent-155622#:~:text=Early%20Christianity&text=In%20the%20Gospels%2C%20Jesus%20spends,and%20Friday%20until%20mid-afternoon.

The True Christian Observance of Good Friday, Resurrection Sunday (Easter), is Deeply Connected to the Passover.

First, why is Good Friday Called Good Friday?

It is called Good Friday because Jesus Died to Save the World from the Penalty of Sin. It was Ultimately a Good Day because on Resurrection Sunday Jesus Defeated Death, Hell and Satan. His Blood Sacrifice, his Blood Atonement Paid the Price for All of the Sins of the World.

Now, Everyone who is willing to Trust in Jesus Death, Burial and Resurrection, Only as Complete Payment for All of their Sins will be Saved Immediately.

On Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday, Christians reflect on the Death, Burial and Triumphant, Glorious Bodily Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the Grave.

Jesus Loved us Enough to Endure the Shame, the Pain, the Cross for us, so We Should All Daily Celebrate (Be Thankful.) Jesus Sacrifice for us.

Romans 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. 16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. 17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Passover in Exodus is a Picture, a Promise of Jesus Future Crucifixion for us, to Save us From Death, From Hell.

Exodus 12:1And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,

2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.

10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.

11 And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD’S passover.

12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

16 And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.

17 And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.

18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.

19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.

20 Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread.

21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.

22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.

25 And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.

26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?

27 That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD’S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

28 And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

Salvation is Only Possible because of Jesus Resurrection:

Without Jesus’ Blood Atonement, his Crucifixion, his Death, there would be No Resurrection, No Salvation. Without Jesus Resurrection, His Death would have had No Meaning. This is the Glorious Good News of the Gospel, and it makes Good Friday a day we can Celebrate.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Judas Betrayed Jesus With A Kiss. Betrayal is Costly.

Judas Betrayed Jesus. Everyone feels the Cost of Betrayal. Betrayal is Evil, it is Costly:

All of Our Lives are Typically Full of Betrayal. Often our “Friends” and our Family Betrays us. So, the Personal Cost of Betrayal is High. Sometimes the person who Betrayed you faces a high Cost because of their Betrayal. Judas for instance committed Suicide by Hanging himself. Betrayal always Hurts Deeply.

Satan is the Cause of All Betrayal. Satan Went into Judas’s Body to Personally Betray Jesus. Judas was a Willing Vessel of Satan’s. Satan Betrayed God in the Beginning:

Luke 22:3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. 4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them. 5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money. 6 And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

This was a Massive Conspiracy Against Jesus. For Judas to Betray Jesus. This Betrayal was So Very Costly. It Cost Jesus Everything!!!! At the End of this Evil Betrayal Jesus and Judas were Both Dead!!!!

30 Pieces of Silver: The Price for Judas’s Betrayal of Jesus:

Matthew 26:15 And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

Judas’s Complete Betrayal of Jesus in Luke Chapter 22:

Betrayal Cuts deep. Betrayal can only come from someone You Trust. Someone you are close to:

Yes, Jesus knew Judas would Betray him.

But that does not take away the Sting of Judas’s Betrayal.

Judas was a man who Jesus asked to be one of his 12 Disciples. His Betrayal was a Huge deal. Jesus depended on him. He taught him. Traveled endlessly on foot and by boat with him for 3 ½ years. These journeys were rough. Filled with thunderstorms, extreme heat and cold. They had to deal with crowds of thousands of needy people. This Life. This Ministry was hard work. Jesus had to depend on all of his Disciples.

Living and working very close to a person that long. So close that they slept on the same few feet of ground together. Multiplies the Pain of the Betrayal. Do not forget. Jesus was a flesh and blood man. He got hungry, tired, angry, cold, hot… He had deep human emotions. Jesus cried when he heard Lazarus had died.

Judas’s Betrayal Deeply Hurt Jesus.

Betrayal, The Costs:

People that are Betrayed Get Shunned by Most People. People will Automatically think the Worst of them: “There must be a Reason he or She was Betrayed. They are Not Innocent…” They Constantly Question them: “What is wrong with him or her”. (Or, you might be thinking. You can relate to all the Betrayal.)

Betrayal is the Act of a Horrible Person. It has nothing to do with, there being something wrong, with You. It is a reflection on the Person who Betrayed you. Betrayal happens because people are Evil.

Betrayal makes you Question Yourself. Why me? Am I not Worth Caring about? You Lose Faith in people. You Expect Everyone you know to Stab you in the back. There is No peace anywhere. At home, at work at Church. Because you feel like it is Impossible to Trust in anyone anymore.

Please Do Not be a Judas. Do not Betray Anyone.

Betrayal happens when someone you Trust. Takes advantage of that Trust. And does something to break that, Trust. Stealing from you. Belittling you to other people. Doing things to Deliberately Hurt you. Lying about who they really are. Telling Secrets, You Trusted them with. A cheating spouse…

Judas’s Betrayal of Jesus was Foretold in the Old Testament:

Zechariah 11:10 And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.

11 And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the Lord.

12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.

13 And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord.

300 Prophecies were fulfilled concerning Jesus Life on the Earth as a human being:

The Bible is 100% True we know this because of all the fulfilled Bible Prophecies. The Bible has not failed in correctly predicting the future.

Judas Rejected and Betrayed Jesus for money.

Matthew 26:14 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,

15 And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

16 And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.

“What will you give me…”

Judas Greed: “What will you give me…”

1st Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

The world is full of Judas’s who Reject Jesus for Money. For the Sinful things of this world.

Mark 4:19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

We are Saved by the Word of God. People refuse to Hear the Word of God. Because the Word of God goes against their life style.

1st Timothy 6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Life is short, very short Do Not Waste Your Life:

Most Christians Waste their Lives working hard to get a High Paying job.

So, they can have a Large home. Some have more than one home. They buy many expensive things. 2 cars, boats, motorcycles, snowmobiles, everything they can dream of. Expensive vacations etc…

Their Real God is being Wealthy, having a Large Bank account This is Idolatry Money is Their Idol Their God.

Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Proverbs 15:27 He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.

Proverbs 23:4 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.

1st John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Betrayal is Always Personal. Almost Everyone has or will be Personally Betrayed:

You are Probably Thinking Right Now of how You have Been Betrayed in Your Life. I was Betrayed by My Wife:

For months a man I thought was my Friend made a Fool out of me. We went to the same Church. He came to me and said I know you could use a Friend right now. Let’s meet when we can and talk about what you are dealing with. He was a Spy. He tried to find Dirt on me for my wife. We were going through a Divorce. There was no Dirt to find. He tried to get me to do a quick online Divorce which Would Not Protect my Parental Rights.

When he could do nothing to help my wife. It Quickly became Obvious he was working for her. After she came at me with the same conversations. I went to him, and he Admitted what he was Doing. He Betrayed me by Lying to me. By helping my wife Spread Lies about me around the Church and Our Community. This is a Typical Example of Betrayal that countless people Suffer Through.

The Answer for Betrayal is Not to Let them Win.

They Win if You Do Anything Stupid. Stupid Like Losing Your Temper and Doing Something Bad Out of Anger. Violence, Revenge is Never the Answer for Betrayal.

Jesus is our Example to Follow. Jesus did Not Get Angry. He Did Not Lose His Temper at Judas for his Betrayal of him.

Be Like Jesus. Stay Calm in the Midst of Betrayal, All of the Forces of EVIL that Attack You.

Everyone suffers through Betrayal in their lives. “Christians” Betray other Christians:

Just because someone tells you they are a Christian Does Not mean they are a Christian:

One Woman told me she was born into a Christian Family. And grew up in the Church. So that made her a Christian.

I told her that did not make her a Christian.

I said: “Just going to Church does not make you a Christian.” “Is their a time in your life when you Believed on Jesus as your Savior? When you Asked Jesus to Save you?”

She lost her temper: “How Dare you Question my Salvation!!!” “I do not have to Defend myself.” “My Christian Life will get me into Heaven.”

I persisted: “You Asked Jesus to Save You? You Believe the Gospel, are trusting in Jesus only to Save you?”

She shouted: “I did not have to do anything!!!”

She Never Believed the Gospel to Save Her. She Did Not Believe in Jesus Only to Save Her. She Never Asked Jesus to Save her. Her faith is in her “Christian” Family, her Lifestyle, Not in Jesus.

Do not waste your life. Do not die without Asking Jesus to Save you.

1st Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Jesus Died In Our Place On The Cross, At His Feet Was Mary His Mother Crying.

Mary The Mother of Jesus was at Risk Her Entire Life, she was Very Brave.

Mary being pregnant with Jesus, without being married, was in Danger of being put to Death. Stoning was the Penalty for Fornication. Mary and Joseph were in Great Danger from King Herod. They had to Flee from Herod.

Mary was an Active part of the Ministries of Jesus. She Risked Her Life Daily. Mary was Indeed Very Brave.

Matthew 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. 24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: 25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.

Mary was at the Foot of The Cross of Jesus, at his Feet. She Witnessed Jesus Suffering. Mary Watched in Agony, Jesus Dying for 3+ hours.

John 19:23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. 24 They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.

25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.

26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! 27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

Mary Never Left Jesus.

Judas Betrayed Jesus. Peter Denied Jesus 3 Times. 9 of the Disciples of Jesus Fled. They Ran Away and hid, after Jesus was Taken Away in Chains in The Garden of Gethsemane. Of the 12 Disciples of Jesus Only John Stayed with Jesus the Whole time. He was with Mary the mother of Jesus, and the 2 other Mary’s at The Cross of Jesus.

Mary was a young woman. Around 16 years old when she discovered:

Luke 1:42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. 43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.

It is Impossible to comprehend being the mother of Jesus. Jesus was God in the flesh.

Mary became the mother of Jesus by the Holy Ghost. She carried him in her belly for 9 months or so. She Held Him in her arms.

She heard his first words. Watched his first steps…

She knew Jesus her Son was Born to Die for the Sins of the Whole World.

Mary was the only person with Jesus from His Birth to His Death, to his Burial and to his Resurrection.

Mary was Faithful to Jesus.

Being the mother of Jesus was Very Dangerous. Mary Risked being Stoned to Death by her own Family for being pregnant without being married.

King Herod Threaten her Life. Mary traveled far and wide with Jesus and Joseph under the Constant Danger of being found and Murdered.

Mary Suffered Greatly seeing Jesus’s Beaten Bloody Body. She Witnessed the Nails being Driven through the hands and feet of Jesus.

She Felt the Pain and Suffering of Jesus as the Nails were being Driven through his hands and feet.

Mary Suffered along with Jesus as he Hung Nailed on The Cross for 3 plus hours Dying…

Yes, Mary was Blessed by God. She was an Amazing woman the mother of Jesus.

Mary was not God though. She did not stay a virgin. She had Sons and Daughters with Joseph her husband.

Matthew 13:54 And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?

55 Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?

56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?

57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.

58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Catholic Mary Worship
Jesus Died In Our Place On The Cross, At His Feet Was Mary His Mother Crying. 9

Please do not pray to Mary. Do Not Bow Down to Statues, Idols of Mary. Do Not Worship Mary.

Salvation is through Jesus only. Jesus died for the Sins of the Whole World not Mary.

1st John 2:2And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”

Hebrews 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. 5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. 7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. 8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

Mary is worthy of the greatest respect, Not Worship.

This song about Mary Always makes me cry:

Mary, Did You Know?”

Lyrics Written byMark Lowryin 1984

Music Written byBuddy Greenein 1991

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy has come to make you new?
This Child that you delivered will soon deliver you.

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy will calm the storm with His hand?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy has walked where angels trod?
When you kiss your little Baby you kissed the face of God?

Mary did you know. Ooo Ooo Ooo

The blind will see.
The deaf will hear.
The dead will live again.
The lame will leap.
The dumb will speak
The praises of The Lamb.

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day rule the nations?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy is heaven’s perfect Lamb?
The sleeping Child you’re holding is the Great, I Am.

Finally, Mary the mother of Jesus was a Truly Great woman of God, but she was Only a flesh and blood woman.

Mary is Not: Queen Mother Mary of Heaven, The Virgin Mary, a Goddess. She had Sons and Daughters after Jesus was born. So, No it is a Lie that Mary remained a Virgin her whole Life.

It is Blasphemy to Pray to the “Virgin” Mary, to Bow down to Her Idols, to Worship her.

Salvation is Only Through Jesus:

Jesus died for all Sin. Salvation is a Free Gift offered to Everyone.

The Bible does not say to Repent of Sin. Jesus died for all Sin. No one goes to Hell for Sin. People go to Hell for one reason only for rejecting Jesus free gift of Salvation.

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Hebrews 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

2nd Corinthians 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

1st Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

1st John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

1st John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

1st Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

1st John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Titus 2:14Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Hebrews 1:3Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

2nd Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

John 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Believe on Jesus Only to be Saved. If you have not Asked Jesus to Save You, Please Ask him Right Now to Save You. Trust in Jesus Only to Save you. Believe The Gospel to be Saved:

1st Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

The Gospels Are About Jesus. Matthew, Mark, Luke And John Explained, A Summary.

Bible Salvation, The Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are about Jesus, His Earthly Ministry. They are part of The New Testament. They are Not Part of the Old Testament Like Many False Counterfeit Churches Falsely Claim.

IFB, Independent Fundamentalist Baptist Dispensationalist, Churches Teach that The Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are Not part of the New Testament. They Deny Jesus, The Gospel. They Teach Calvinism a False Gospel. They Falsely say that the 4 Gospels belong in the Old Testament. This is Not Credible. It is Hypocritical. Because they Claim to be Bible Believers. In all Bibles published the 4 Gospels are in the New Testament. These “Bible Believer’s” Deny that the Bible they use is divided correctly.

There are Numerous Church Denominations that say the Gospels are Old Testament Books.

I Strongly Disagree with False Churches that Say the Gospel’s are Old Testament Books. The Gospel’s Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are Part of the New Testament.

1st) Every Bible ever published has the Gospels in the New Testament.

2nd) Jesus is the mediator of the New Testament. Jesus is the New Testament. His Innocent Perfect Life was the only worthy Sacrifice to Pay for All of the Sins of the world. The Life of Jesus, his earthly ministry are part of the New Testament. The Old Testament is everything before Jesus Birth on the Earth. The Old Testament Saints were looking forward to Jesus.

Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Mark 14:24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.

Luke 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

Bible Salvation: No One was ever Saved by the Law.

Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Romans 10:1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Jesus Fulfilled the Law by Living a Perfect Sinless Life.

Romans 10: Everyone that Believes on Jesus To Be Saved Believes the Gospel, gets Jesus’s Righteousness.

Most people in the Old Testament days Did Not correctly understand the Law. They were not looking for the Promised Messiah. They were Establishing Their OWN Righteousness.

Romans 10:12 Proves that Everyone from the Old Testament, that was Saved, was Saved by Jesus.

The New Testament completed the Old Testament.

There has Always Only been One Path to Heaven, To Salvation and that is The Saviour The Lord Jesus Christ.

IFB Baptist Dispensationalist, “Bible Believer’s,” Put the Gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke and John into the Old Testament. I completely Reject this Lie. I trust that my Bible is Correct with the Gospels in the New Testament.

Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are written from different Perspectives:

The Gospel’s give a complete picture of the Lord Jesus Christ. How He was the Fulfillment of Old Testament Promises.

The four Gospels we have in our Bible today. Are called Canonical Gospels. This means they are included in the Canon of Scripture of the New Testament. I have never seen a Bible for Sale anywhere that puts the Gospels into the Old Testament.

Abraham knew the Gospel. King David Knew the Gospel. Adam and Eve they knew the Gospel. The Promise of Jesus was not a Secret Hidden until the New Testament.

John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

Romans 4:1 What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?

2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.

3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

9 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.

10 How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.

Everyone is Saved by Faith in Jesus Only. This is what the Whole Bible Teaches, Both the Old and the New Testament.

Romans 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb:

20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;

24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Right here in Romans Chapter 4: The Bible, Jesus, is Clear that the People in the Old Testament Understood that Jesus was coming to Die for All of the Sins of the World. They were Looking Forward to Salvation Through Jesus.

Lost False Teachers / False Churches they Mock Actual Christians for saying:

“The Old Testament Saints were Looking Forward to the Cross for Jesus. While New Testament Christians are Looking Back at Jesus and the Cross.”

Romans Chapter 4 is Clear that Salvation in the Entire Bible is Only Through Jesus and Not Ever by the Works of the Law. The Law Never Saved One Person.

The Book of Faith is Hebrews, it Proves that Salvation is Only Through Jesus No Matter if You Lived During the Old Testament or During the New Testament. The Bible Only Teaches One Way to Heaven, Through Jesus Only, Not by the Works of the Law.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.

13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Verse 13 could not be more clear. Everyone in the Old Testament saw the Promise of Salvation Through Jesus afar off. They Died Believing this in Faith.

14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,

18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:

19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.

20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.

21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.

22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment.

24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter;

25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.

31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:

33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

Hebrews Chapter 11 is the Chapter on Faith. Guess what? Salvation from Genesis to Revelation is through Faith Only. Faith in Jesus, Faith in the Gospel only for Salvation.

Look at these verses:

Hebrews 11:13These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.”

Galatians 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.

5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.

16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.

21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

Salvation from Genesis to Revelation is Belief in Jesus Blood Atonement. Abraham and Everyone Born was Saved by the Gospel Only through Jesus Only. Not by the Works of the Law.

Galatians 3:6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

How to Be Saved:

Acts 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Simply Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, the Gospel of our Salvation, to be Saved.

The Faith to be Believe on Jesus is childlike Faith.

Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 19:14 / Luke 18:16 Show that the theme of the entire Bible is that Salvation is Free and Offered to Everyone the same way. It does not say Jewish children only. Gentile children only. No it says, “little children.” That includes all children. ALL.

The Gospel of Matthew:

The Gospel of Matthew Shows Jesus Preaching and teaching to both the Jews and the Gentiles. Jesus is presented as the Son of God. And the King of the Jews. Jesus is Immanuel. God with us. The entire book is composed of Five large blocks of teaching. (5:1-7:29; 10:11-42; 13:1-52; 18:1-35; 24:1-25:46.)

Outline of The Gospel of Matthew:

1. The Person of Jesus (ch. 1:1 – 4:16). 2. The Proclamations of Jesus (ch. 4:17 – 16:20). 3. The Passion of Jesus (ch. 16:21 – 28:20).

The Church.

Matthew is the only Gospel to use the word Church. He uses it two different times.

Matthew 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Jesus’s Authority:

Matthew, like the other Gospels, describes Jesus Miracles and Teachings as Powerful and Authoritative. Matthew puts extra emphasis on Jesus Authority over All things. Nothing can stand in the way of God’s forward-moving Kingdom. (Mt 16:18; 28:18).

The Gospel of Mark:

Mark describes the life of Jesus with an Apocalyptic thrust and Intensity. It is the shortest of the four Gospels. Mark was not an Apostle himself. He was a Disciple of Peter. A missionary with both Peter and Paul. His Gospel reflects the action-packed, speedy, urgent nature of the Gospel Ministry. It shows us how Jesus calls us to a Life of Active Faith.

Mark’s Gospel is concerned with the question and the Identity of Jesus as the Messianic Son of God.

Jesus is the suffering servant Messiah.

Vividly described in Isaiah 53. The one who would come to Pay for All of the Sins of the whole world.

Mark’s Gospel begins with this statement:

Mark 1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

At his baptism, Jesus is confirmed to be the Messianic Son of God. By a voice from heaven.

Mark 9:7 And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

At the end of the book. The Roman centurion states:

Mark 15:39 And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.

Outline of The Gospel of Mark:

1. Preliminary Ministry (ch. 1:1-15). 2. Galilean Ministry (ch. 1:16 – 8:26). 3. True Nature of Ministry (ch. 8:27 – 10:52). 4. Ministry in Jerusalem (ch. 11:1 – 13:37). 5. Passion Narrative (ch. 14:1 – 16:8).

Secrecy:

Although all Gospels mention Jesus hushing the recipients of his Miracles. Mark includes many more incidents than the others. Time and time again. Mark records Jesus ordering people not to speak of his miraculous acts of healing. Much of his ministry was Discreet. Just as God often works in mysterious and unseen ways in our lives. (Mk 3:11; 5:35-39.)

Incompetence of the Disciples:

Mark is Harsh in his depiction of the Disciples.

Making frequent mention of their confusion, bickering, and selfishness. On the one hand. This shows the futility of trying to understand everything God is doing. It encourages obedience even before total comprehension.

On the other hand. This encourages others who want to serve Jesus. But don’t feel adequately prepared or trained. The disciples were not especially gifted or especially attentive. Yet they changed the world. Because they Believed Jesus’ message and received His Spirit. (Mk 8:14-20; 9:31.)

Jesus is The Way:

Mark uses the word “Way” unusually often in his description of Jesus’ travels. Many of the most significant events and discussions in the book. Happen “along the way.” To somewhere or other. Showing that the Journey of Faith is as important as the Destination. That God is leading us down a particular Path. In order to prepare us for the next curve in the road. (Mk 1:2; 8:27; 9:33; 10:32,52; 12:14.)

The Gospel of Luke:

Luke’s Gospel Emphasizes God’s Fulfillment of his Promises to All mankind. Not only to his chosen people the Jews.

Luke stresses the inclusiveness of the gospel to every person. To Jews, to Gentiles, to everyone. Luke shows The Gospel being spoken to: Children, Women, the Poor, and the Disenfranchised. The Gospel of Luke was written, to give Assurance of the Validity of Jesus Ministry.

Outline of The Book of Luke:

1. Christian Beginnings (ch. 1:1 – 4:13). 2. Jesus in Galilee (ch. 4:14 – 9:50). 3. Jesus’ Journey to Jerusalem (ch. 9:51 – 19:44). 4. Jesus In Jerusalem (ch. 19:45 – 21:38). 5. Jesus’ Passion (ch. 22 – 24).

Eye witness to Historical Facts:

Luke 1:1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, 2 Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word; 3 It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus, 4 That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.

Luke records many Historical Facts that the other Gospels do not. Providing us with the most complete record of Jesus’s Birth and Childhood.

Luke places special emphasis on Jesus’ social ministry. To the poor, the oppressed, the lower class, the gentiles, the women, and the children.

The Infancy narratives in Luke 1:1-2:52 are unique to Luke:

These passages include. Both the foretelling and the birth of John the Baptist and Jesus. (1:5-25; 1:26-38; 1:57-66; 2:1- 21.)

Luke gives us the most information about Jesus’ childhood.

Luke defines The Gospel again as for the humble. The meek, the small, and the uninitiated. Even the little children Can Believe in Jesus with all of their Heart: That Jesus is the Savior of the whole world.

Luke 18:16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Women:

Luke makes it a point to show the prominent role that women played in Jesus’s Ministry.

This was very counter-cultural. As women were not even allowed to be trained by a Rabbi in these days. It serves as one more example of God’s heart for the oppressed. The Universal Scope of The Gospel. It was for All Men and All Women. Excluding No One from Salvation, the reach of God’s Love,. (2:38; 7:36; 8:1-3; 10:38; 15:8-10; 18:1-5; 23:27-31; 24:1-11.)

The Gospel of John:

John’s Gospel is rather different from Matthew, Mark, and Luke’s. They repeat the same events.

The Book of John Emphasizes Christ’s Deity portraying Him as God.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Jesus is also the Word. Your Bible is the Word of God. Written by Jesus.

John 20:31 explains that the Book of John was written so people would have life (Eternal Life) by Believing that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.

John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

The spiritual Relationship we have with God through a New Birth is emphasized. To be Born Again by the Spirit of God.

The majority of John’s Gospel. Tells us about Christ’s last week on earth. Because this was the purpose of His coming. To save the world from Sin. And to give Eternal life. Jesus is “The Life.” And it is His life that He gives. Lays down for us.

Jesus is the Son of God who is equal to the Father:

Sent to finish the Father’s work in the world. God’s own glory is made visible in Him. (“Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father,”14:9.) What he does glorifies the Father. Importantly, a series of “I Am’s” spoken by Jesus.’ Echoes God’s naming of himself in.Ex 3:14. Showing that Jesus is God. Equal to God the Father. The Father and the Son are one. (6:35;8:12;9:5;10:7,9,14;11:25;14:6;15:1,5.)

Jesus’ words to Nicodemus in John Chapter 3 describes how to be Saved:

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. 9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? 10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

The Outline of the Book of John:

Outline: 1. Jesus public Ministry (1:19 – 12:50) 2. Private Ministry (13 – 17) 3. Jesus Suffering and Death (18 – 19) 4. Resurrection and Victory (20 – 21)

Jesus offered Salvation to the Gentiles:

John 4:7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. 8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) 9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. 10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. 11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? 12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? 13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. 15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. 16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. 17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: 18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly. 19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. 27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her? 28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? 30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.

Jesus is the Author of the Bible. He created the Heavens and the Earth. The subject of the entire Bible is Jesus.

Jesus’s Promise was the Redemption of mankind to Everyone who Believes on Him, Who Believes the Gospel Only to Be Saved:

1st Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Jesus Taught Salvation to Everyone Not Just to the Jews:

There is Only One Way to Be Saved for both the Jews and the Gentiles, The Gospel. Not one plan of Salvation for the Jews and another for the Gentiles.

The entire Bible was written to and applies to Everyone from Genesis to Revelation. You cannot throw out entire books of the Bible. By saying incorrectly that they were only written to the Jews. Or to the Gentiles or some other group of people.

Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

2nd Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”

ALL, ALL, ALL, Scripture!!!!
