Biblically Explaining Catholic, Baptist, Other Churches Use, Definition of Penance, Repent / Repentance

Penance, Repent / Repentance As Used in Almost All “Christian” Churches, Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, etc…, Is A Catholic Teaching.

Ecumenicalism is the Rule Not the Exception in Churches Worldwide. There is a Fake Notion that Mainstream Non Catholic “Christian” Churches offer a Different Plan of Salvation than the Catholic Church Does.

Strip the Catholic Church of its Mary and Pope Worship. All of their Paganism: Praying to the Dead, Lighting Candles, Saint Worshiping. All of their Hail Mary’s, Punishments (How they Do Penance for one instance.) If You strip this All Away what is Left is the same Teachings that are taught in 90%, more or less, of Baptist and Other Non Catholic “Christian” Churches.

There is a Huge Amount of Paganism, and Non Biblical Teachings in Baptist Churches too.

I am calling out the Baptist Churches because they are the Biggest Frauds when it comes to Churches. They Twist the Bible around like a Pretzel to Teach their Numerous False Doctrines, their False Gospel of Works. This is also True of at least 90% of All the Other so called “Christian” Counterfeit Churches.

I have directly called out dozens of Pastors in these Churches for their False Gospel, their False Unbiblical Teachings.

Not one of them could Defend what they Teach with the Bible. Once they see I know the Bible and they cannot Lie to me with All of their Bible Twisting they cut off All Communication with me. When Confronted with Numerous Bible Passages that Absolutely Refute what they are Teaching they say something like:

False Counterfeit Pastor: “You have to look at the Bigger Picture. You are Correct that the Bible Doesn’t say Repent of Sin but the Bible Does Teach Repent of Sin, Turn from Sin, to Be Saved. You are just too Ignorant and Not taught how to Rightly Divide the Bible…”

These Bible Twisters Go On and On… They Twist Many Bible Verses to push their False Gospel. These Verses Do Not say or Remotely Teach that Repent, Repentance means to Repent of Sin. They Do Not Say To Turn from Sin, Forsake Sin, etc…, to Be Saved.

My Reply: “Not One of the Scriptures you are using Says what you claim they say. You Add Repent of Sin and or to Turn From Sin to them when the Scriptures Don’t say that in anyway. Also None of the Scriptures you are using is a Salvation Passage. No one is Saved in Any of the Passages you are Using. I have given you more than a dozen Salvation Passages and Not one of them mention a Person has to Repent of Sin, Turn From Sin, Forsake Sin, etc…, to Be Saved.”

False Counterfeit Pastor: “The Trinity is Not Mentioned by that Word in the Bible Either but there is a Trinity in the Bible. This is the Same Concept in Use when I, when Pastors say You have to Repent of Sin, Turn From Your Sins to Be Saved. Repent of Sin, Turn From Your Sins Does Not have to be Directly said Anywhere in the Bible to be True. When You Repent You are Repenting of Sin. That is Clear to All Bible Scholars. To anyone with a College Degree from a Good Bible College. You do not know how to Rightly Divide the Bible.”

My Reply: “The Only Reason the word Trinity is Acceptable to be used is Because: in the Bible God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit / The Holy Ghost are All Clearly defined as One God in three Persons. Trinity is Obviously just another Word for Three. It is Not what you are doing with the words Repent / Repentance, Turn from Sin, Forsake Sin, etc… What You and everyone that teaches this are doing is Adding Words to the Scriptures that are Not there. You are Taking Scriptures Completely out of Context to Teach Your False Works Gospel. It is a Big Deal that the Bible Says A Person is Saved by Believing the Gospel Only. It is A Big Deal that Not One Person was Saved in the Bible by Repenting of their Sins, Turning from Their Sins etc… Jesus, None of his Apostles, None of his Disciples Taught what You and People like You are teaching.”

This is how a Typical Conversation Goes Between me and a False Pastor / Evangelist. The Example above is just a small look at it.

Jesus Constantly stood against False Religious Leaders.

All throughout the Bible, we find Numerous Scriptures that talk about False Religious Leaders. Much of Jesus time in the New Testament is taken up with Battling False Teachers.

2nd Peter 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. 18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

False Teachers have Ignorant Lemmings in their Congregations that Do Not Read and Study the Bible for themselves. They just know how to Repeat the Propaganda they hear in Church. These people are All over Social Media Pushing this False Counterfeit Gospel.

To Be Clear This Biblical Message is Against the False Teachings You will Find in the Catholic Church and All Non Catholic Counterfeit Christian Churches.

Please be Sure to Read to the End because I will show you that there is No Substantial Doctrinal Difference Between what the Catholic Church Teaches on Penance, Repent / Repentance and What the Mainstream Baptist, and other Non Catholic “Christian” Churches Teach.

All of these Churches Are Teaching Works Salvation. They All Teach a False Counterfeit Gospel.

Note There are a small Percentage of Independent Baptist and Other Independent Churches that Have Salvation Correct. The Percentage of Churches that are Teaching the Only True Gospel is Very Small.

Before I get into the Main Points I Must First Explain what the Truth is. The True Gospel, The Truth about Repent / Repentance:

There is a REAL, a Clearly defined Difference between what people are Falsely taught the Bible says about Repent / Repentance and what the Bible Actually says.

Below are a few facts about “Repent” as it is found in its various forms in both the Old and New Testaments:

The word “Repent” is found forty-five times in the King James Bible; “Repentance” twenty-six times; “Repented” thirty-two times; “Repentest” one time; “Repenteth” five times; “Repenting” one time; and “Repentings” one time – a total of 111 times in both the Old and New Testaments.

The word in its various forms is found forty-six times in the Old Testament and sixty-five in the New Testament. Of the forty-six times the word appears in the Old Testament, twenty-eight times God does the repenting, not man.

For example, inExodus 32:14the Bible says, “And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.”

What did God Do??? Did God Repent of his Sin???

No God does not Sin.

God Changed his mind. Repent means to Change your mind.

In addition to the twenty-eight times that God Repents in the Old Testament, there are nine other passages that tell of things about which God does not or did not Repent.

Of the forty-six times a form of the word “Repentance” appears in the Old Testament, only nine times is man doing the Repenting. Thirty-seven times it has reference to God’s Repenting or telling us of things about which God did not or will not Repent.

Now, if “Repent” means to Turn from Sin, to Repent of Sin, to Forsake Sin we have a huge problem.

That would mean God had to Turn from His Sin, To Repent of His Sin, To Forsake his Sin.

God is Sinless and does not Sin.

But if “Repentance” means a change of mind, then it is consistent with the Bible. God changes His mind over and over again in the Bible.

Repent of your sins,” it is not found in the Bible.

Repentance means to change your mind.

Acts 17:30And the times of this ignorance God winked at [overlooked]; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.

What they were to repent or change their mind about is clear fromverse 29. Here the Scripture says, “…we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold or silver or stone, graven by art and man’s device!”

They needed to change their mind about God and see that He is not a graven image made of gold, silver, or stone but that He is a living God and is going to be their judge.

Verse 31, “Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”

InLuke 13:5Jesus said, “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”

The context of this verse shows that they needed to repent or change their mind regarding punishment and sin.

Luke 13:1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

In this passage, Jesus was talking to people who believed that people suffered only because of their sins, and they concluded that those in Galilee whose blood Pilate mingled with sacrifices and those on whom the tower of Siloam fell were greater sinners because they died such horrible deaths.

Jesus contradicts the thinking of these self-righteous people and tells them that they need to Repent or Change Their Mind and see themselves as sinners, too, or they will perish in their own self-righteousness.

You will never find any verse in the Bible that Says to Repent of Sin.

Repentance / Repent / Penance is also Falsely Called to be Sorry over Sin. This is Not Found in the Bible.

People Falsely use 2nd Corinthians 7:9,10 to say Repentance is sorrow over Sin.

9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.

Verse 9 makes it crystal clear that Repentance does not mean to be Sorry over Sin. To be Sorry at all.

Paul says: “I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry,” he was not Happy that he made them Sorry.

He was happy that they Repented. It is clear that Repentance is not Sorrow. Paul said their Sorrow caused them to Repent.

Repentance is not Sorrow.

10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

See the verse Clearly says “godly sorrow worketh repentance…” Godly sorrow is not Repentance, it causes a person to Repent.

You Have to Realize, to See Yourself as a Sinner 1st. Once You See and Know that You are a Sinner, This Makes You Sorry and You see Yourself for the Guilty Sinner that You are. Someone that Deserves to Go to Hell.

Then 2nd After this Realization You Repent and Change Your Mind. You Change Your Mind about Your Need for Jesus to be Your Savior.

Let me give you an example.

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;

10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

Repentance is when a person realizes by the Holy Spirit of God that they are a dirty rotten Sinner that deserves to go to Hell. This sorrow over being a Sinner causes a person to Repent to Believe on Jesus only to Save them.

Repentance is not Sorrow. Sorrow leads a person to Repent, to Believe on Jesus.

Notice the above passage does not say to Repent of Sin. It also does not call Repentance Sorrow.

The Holy Spirit is shouting to the entire World “You are a Dirty Rotten Sinner. Jesus died for your Sins….”

People only seek Jesus because the Holy Spirit of God makes them realize they are a Sinner that needs Jesus to Save them.

It is important to look at the context of verses we use.

2nd Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

2 Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man.

3 I speak not this to condemn you: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you.

4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.

5 For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears.

6 Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;

7 And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more.

8 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.

Right hear in verse 8 Paul is defining Repent as to Change your mind.

Paul did not Change his mind (Repent) because he made them Sorry with his letter. He did not Regret what he wrote to them.

…though I did repent:” What he is saying here is when Titus told him that his letter made the Church sorry at first he changed his mind at the letter he had sent and felt it was a bad letter.

Then after he completely understood what affect his letter had on the Church he realized his letter was good and had the needed affect on the Church. So Paul’s final reaction to the news from Titus was to be glad that he sent the letter. To not Change his mind (Repent) of the letter he had sent.

9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.

10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

12 Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.

13 Therefore we were comforted in your comfort: yea, and exceedingly the more joyed we for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all.

14 For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth.

15 And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.

16 I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things.

The entire passage is talking about Titus giving a good report to Paul about the Change (Repentance) his letter caused in the Church at Corinth.

Everyone is Saved by the Gospel Only. You will not find Jesus, Paul or any of Jesus other Disciples teaching to Be Saved you have to Repent of Sin.

The Gospel:

1st Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Repentance is from Unbelief in Jesus to Belief in Jesus. To Believe the Gospel Only to Save you. Repentance Is Not From Sinful Behavior.

Another Verse False Teachers use is Acts 3:19 it is Twisted to Teach Repent of Sin.

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Notice It Does Not Say to Repent of Sin.

Repent ye therefore, (The Comma Separates thoughts, words, items.) and be Converted,

Repent ye therefore, and be Converted, This Means You Repent Change Your Mind about Your Unbelief in Jesus to Belief in Jesus.

Now that you have Believed on Jesus You are Converted, Your Sins have Been Given to Jesus to Pay for. You Do Not have to Pay for Your Sins now.

This is what Converted means to Be Changed from One Condition to Another.

Now Jesus can Blot Out Your Sins. Because You Changed Your Mind about Jesus from Unbelief to Belief. You have Believed on, in Jesus Only, to Save You look:

The Context: The Entire Passage:

Acts 3:12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? 13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. 14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; 15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. 16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. 17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers. 18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. 19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Peter Preached the Gospel to them and Finished with:

Change Your Mind, and Let Jesus Convert You From a Lost Person Full of Sin, to a Saved Person who has Believed on Jesus Sacrifice on the Cross to Save You From Hell the Penalty for Your Sins.

The Main Message:

Most Non Catholic Churches Claim they Do Not Teach Catholic Doctrines. This Frankly is Not the Truth.

Baptist Churches for the most part are Very Catholic. Their Core Doctrines are 80% Catholic as are Protestant Churches. That Percentage is an Average some Churches are More Catholic than others are. But they All take Heavily from the Catholic Church in the Doctrines they Observe and Teach.

In these “Christian” Churches Penance, Repent / Repentance go hand and hand. They are the two sides of the same coin.

In the Catholic Church Penance, Repent / Repentance are Defined as:

The Following is from Catholic Online:

Penanceis a sacrament of the NewLawinstituted byChristin which forgiveness of sins committed afterbaptismis granted through the priest’sabsolutionto those who with true sorrow confess their sins and promise to satisfy for the same. It is called a “sacrament” not simply a function or ceremony, because it is an outward sign instituted byChristto impartgraceto the soul. As an outward sign it comprises the actions of the penitent in presenting himself to thepriestand accusing himself of his sins, and the actions of thepriestin pronouncingabsolutionand imposing satisfaction. This whole procedure is usually called, from one of its parts, “confession”, and it is said to take place in the “tribunal of penance”, because it is a judicial process in which the penitent is at once the accuser, thepersonaccused, and the witness, while thepriestpronounces judgment and sentence. Thegraceconferred is deliverance from the guilt ofsinand, in the case of mortal sin, from its eternal punishment; hence alsoreconciliationwith God, justification. Finally, theconfessionis made not in the secrecy of the penitent’s heart nor to a layman as friend and advocate, nor to a representative of human authority, but to a duly ordainedpriestwith requisite jurisdiction and with the ” power of the keys “, i.e., the power to forgive sins whichChristgranted to His Church.

REPENTANCE

Voluntary sorrow because it offends God, for having done something wrong, together with the resolve to amend one’s conduct by taking the necessary means to avoid the occasions of sin. To repent is to be sorry for sin with self-condemnation. (Etym. Latin repoenitere, to be very sorry, regret intensely.)

The Above Catholic Church Definitions are Virtually the Same as in 90% (give or take a little) of Baptist and of All Churches that Call themselves “Christian” Churches.

The Baptist and Other Non Catholic Churches they Bundle Penance in with their Definitions of Repent / Repentance

Repentance-Penance-and-the-Forgiveness-of-Sins They Will Say You have to Have Godly Sorrow (This Fits the Definition of Penance) to have True Real Repentance.

I have Not been in many “KJV Bible Baptist Churches” that Doesn’t have a Pastor that Acts like a Catholic Priest when it comes to Repent / Repentance and Yes Penance. They Expect Their Church Members to Abstain from Everything Under the Sun. And to Be Sorry, to Feel Extreme Guilt for their Sin as Part of their Repentance for Sin.

Church Members when caught in Sin are Shamed Before the Entire Church.

They are Required to Confess these Sins Before the Church and Vow, Swear that they will Turn Away from the Sin / Sins, and Not do them again.

I have seen this Public Humiliation too many times. This is a Big Reason I Left KJV Only Baptist Churches.

This happened in A KJV Only Baptist Church I was in:

The Pastor had a Public Humiliation and Confession of Sin of his Assistant Pastor and his whole Family. He had an Accuser Accuse them of Breaking a Rule the Pastor had made. They Admitted what had happened and Apologized to the Church in Great Sorrow.

After the Public Humiliation, the Assistant Pastor and his Family Standing in Front of the Church, the Pastor said:

The Assistant Pastor and his Family is No Longer Welcome in this Church.”

Their Crime was to Have a Television in their Home.

This type of Legalism and Excommunication is Extremely Common in many “Christian” Churches.

This “Pastor” went on and Demanded that Every Church member Spy on one another and Tell him All of the Sins that they see from members in the Church.

In this type of Legalistic Church, people who are Struggling with Actual Sin cannot seek help by talking to the Pastor or another Church member about their Battle Against Sin because they don’t want to be Publicly Shamed and Excommunicated from the Church.

At least in the Catholic Church the Confession of Sin is kept behind closed doors.

Baptist Churches and Others Publicly Shame Everyone about Sin.

Most of the time the People being Shamed about Sin are Falsely accused of Sins that they are Not Guilty of.

From the time I was a Teenager to my 30’s I was always being Falsely accused of Sexual Misconduct. For Example:

The Deacon of my Church saw me walking into the Church with a Young Woman:

He said to me: “I know what is going on. You Know the Rules. You cannot be alone with a Female. Giving a Female a Ride to Church and From Church without a proper Escort is Not allowed. It is Obvious what is going on Between you two.”

The Female in Question She Immediately Started Crying and said to him: “I haven’t been to Church in 3 weeks because You and Your Family Stopped coming by and picking me up for Church. I called in advance and every time I was told you would be there to give me a ride to Church. After it was obvious that You were Not going to come and give me a Ride to Church I called the Church and he answered and came over and gave me a ride to Church.”

She Continued: “You are Falsely Accusing us. I am used to this type of Horrible Behavior from people I work with because I am a Single Female in the Navy. You know the talk: Navy Women Join the Navy because they are Looking for Men to hook up with. You know they say the Absolutely Worst things about Women in the Navy… To Accuse him as well as me is Wrong because You know he is Well Respected in this Church and is Not the type of Man you are accusing him of being. You are the Only Person at Fault here.”

The Deacon Red Faced said to Me: “I stand by what I said. You Knowingly Broke the Rules so your Motive is Obvious. You cannot do this again. She has money she can take a cab to Church, buy a car etc… It is Her Responsibility alone to get to Church. It Certainly isn’t my Responsibility to give her rides to Church. We drive by her place and pick her up when she is outside. She wasn’t outside so I kept going. I am Not going to be Late to Church because she is Not where she should have been to get a ride from me.”

She Replied: “You Did Not Drive by the Bus Stop, where you told me to be today and for the Last two weeks. I am always at least 15 minutes early to the Bus stop. I waited for at least 45 minutes past the time you told me that you would be there to pick me up. Today because I did not want to miss Church again I waited for 30 minutes than called the Church to get a ride. Also the Church Service Doesn’t Start for another 15 minutes. None of us made it to Church Late.”

Red Faced the Deacon Glared at her than he Glared at me. He said to me: “You know that there is No Excuse for Your Behavior. This Church doesn’t Tolerate it at All!”

The Deacon Grabbed her by the Arm and Pulled her into the Church Office and Closed the Door.

KJV Only Baptist Churches are this Strict, Legalistic. The Churches I was in were even much worse. I cannot share with the Public how bad it gets.

This All Connects to Penance, Repent / Repentance because:

Baptists and Non Catholic Churches Do Not Separate Their Definition of Penance from Repent / Repentance at All. To them Penance is a Required Part of Repentance.

Accordingly A Person who is Actively “Sinning” In their Eyes is Not Saved. A Saved Person Would Not be Caught Breaking the Rules of the Church. And When Caught they would Do Penance by Being Immediately Sorry and Explaining how they were Wrong. How they would TURN FROM THEIR SIN AND NEVER DO IT AGAIN.

The Deacon Expected Us to Confess to our Fornication. At a minimum he wanted us to Admit Our Behavior was going to End in Fornication.

Neither of us Admitted to Doing Anything Wrong. Because we did Nothing Wrong. We Did Not Sign a Pledge to the Church that we would Never be Alone with a member of the opposite Sex. There was Nothing in the Church’s Documentation about Not being Alone with the opposite Sex. I was Never Directed by the Pastor or the Deacon, etc… about Not Driving a Single Woman alone to Church.

Still the Deacon Expected Us to Show him our Penance, Repentance. She Did Cry but her Tears came from Anger at being Falsely accused. He wanted Real Public Penance and Repentance from from us. He did not get it so the Dozens of People who witnessed this scene told the rest of the Church. (Endless Church Gossip accused us of Fornication, and Not being Saved at All because we Refused to Confess, Do Penance and Repent of our Sin.)

Being Publicly Shamed to the point of Crying is Doing Penance.

If You have Ever Heard Baptist, Southern Baptist, Many other Denominations Preach About “True Repentance” you will Quickly Realize that they Always Bundle Penance into their Definition of True Repentance. Because they say:

True Repentance Doesn’t Happen without Tears and Deep Sorrow Over Your Sins. You have to Be Deeply Sorry For Your Sins and You Must Turn From All of your Sins. You Must Confess All of Your Sins and Commit to Not Repeat them Again. If You Do Not Do this. If You Do Not Hate Your Sins, What You have Done than You are Not Saved. You Also Have to Turn Away From All of Your Sins and Walk in a New Direction. You have to Do Works Good Enough to Be Worthy of Going to Heaven…”

The Catholic Church and Almost All Non Catholic Churches They have the Same Definition of Repent / Repentance.

Baptists and Other Churches just Simply Bundle the Definition of Penance in with their Definition of Repent / True Repentance. A Quick online Search will Clearly show this to be True.
