How To Deal With Guilt. Is Godly Sorrow Repentance? What Is Godly Sorrow?

Feeling Guilt, Sorrow: The Hardest Person To Forgive Is Yourself.

Guilt / Sorrow, Stays with Us. Godly Sorrow and Repentance are Taught Incorrectly / Unbiblically to Deceive Everyone. You cannot undo what you have Done. You can Stop Letting your Past Control your Future though.

Isaiah 43:18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Philippians 3:13 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,”

Jesus Doesn’t want us to Dwell on our Past.

No matter how Guilty we might Feel about the Bad we have done, we have to Let the Past Go, and Move on. Jesus also doesn’t want us to Dwell on an Amazingly Good Past we might have. He wants us to Keep moving Forward, Striving to Do our Best always. People who have a Great Past often Stop moving Forward thinking: “Look at All the Good I have done…” They just Stop and Rest thinking they have done enough Good already…

Luke 9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

1st Corinthians 9:23 And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you. 24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Few People will Actually Let you Forget your Past.

Sometimes that means you will Have to get a Divorce and Start Over. Yes, it is Better to say Goodbye to Everyone you know and Start Over Fresh than to Let People who refuse to Let you Live in Peace Destroy the Rest of your Life.

People are Not Good at Forgiving, and Forgetting. People are Huge Hypocrites. They will point Fingers at you when they are Secretly Guilty of much Worse than you are.

God Forgives, and He will Never Remember Your Sins.

2nd Samuel 12:13 And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

Isaiah 43:25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins

Isaiah 38:17 Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.

Jeremiah 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

1st John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

Psalms 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Christianity is Not Based on Penance, on Guilt.

Doing Penance and being full of Guilt is Catholic False Doctrine that Baptist’s and other Religions push too.

On the Cross Jesus Said:

Luke 23:34 “Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do…”

Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do…” Christianity is Based on Forgiveness Not Guilt.

Contrary to Popular Opinion the Bible is Full of Mercy, Comfort, Forgiveness.

Psalms 103:1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. 6 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. 7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel. 8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. 9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. 10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. 11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. 12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. 13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. 14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. 15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. 16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. 17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children; 18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. 19 The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. 20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. 21 Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure. 22 Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul.

Jesus is Merciful:

Luke 7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. 48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. 49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also? 50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

Jesus Does Not Want Christians to Live their Lives Consumed with Guilt and Shame over the Evil they have Done.

Why then do Most Religions push Penance, Guilt?

They are Pushing a False Gospel of Repent of Sin. They incorrectly define Repentance / Repent.

Explaining Godly Sorrow:

2nd Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Notice This Passage does Not Say to Repent of Sin. Sin is Not Even Mentioned.

The entire Passage:

2nd Corinthians 7:6 Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus; 7 And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more. 8 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season. 9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. 10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. 11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter. 12 Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you. 13 Therefore we were comforted in your comfort: yea, and exceedingly the more joyed we for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all. 14 For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth. 15 And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him. 16 I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things.

In this passage Passage Paul is Not saying that Repentance / to Repent means to Repent of Sin. He is Not saying that Repentance / Repent is being Sorry over Sin.

It is Clear that Repent means to Change your mind. Paul changed his mind (Repents) a few times in this passage.

Godly Sorrow:

Godly Sorrow. What is Godly Sorrow?

Godly Sorrow is being Sorry for the Right Reasons.

The Right Reasons:

Sorry for your Evil Ungodly Behavior. Sorry for your Sin.

Sorrow for your Rage, Anger. Sorry for hurting other people. Sorry for Swearing, Adultery, Fornication (Having Sex outside of marriage.), Hitting someone, etc…

The Wrong Reasons:

Sorrow for not getting the job you wanted.

Sorrow because someone caught you lying.

Sorrow because someone discovered the real you.

Some people are Not Sorry about Anything they have ever done.

They feel there is No Right, No Wrong. They get this teaching from their teacher’s in School’s in Colleges from Atheist’s.

At a young age I knew things I did was wrong. I am Sorry for too many things to count that I have done wrong, before and after I was Saved.

One thing Godly Sorrow is Not is Repentance.

2nd Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Godly Sorrow is separate from Repentance. It worketh Repentance: Godly Sorrow causes a person to Repent. So Godly Sorrow is not Repentance.

Repent means to Change your mind. Repentance in Salvation means you changed your mind from Unbelief in Jesus to Belief in Jesus.

A person who is Sorry is Penitent. The Cambridge Dictionary definition of Penitent: Showing that you are sorry for something you have done because you feel it was wrong:

“I’m sorry,” she said with a penitent smile.

“It was hard to be mad at him when he looked so penitent.”

Godly Sorrow is being Penitent.

2nd Corinthians 7:9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. {after…: or, according to God} 10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. 11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort…

False Churches / Teachers say you cannot be Saved unless you have the Required Amount of Sorrow… They teach you have to have an Overpowering amount of Sorrow to be Saved.

How can anyone measure a person’s Sorrow? To say if it is enough or it is not enough for Salvation??? If you do not have the right amount of Sorrow than they say you are not Saved.

God does not measure our Sorrow and say OK now you are Sorrowful enough to be Saved.

Your Amount of Sorrow does not Save you. Being Sorry for your Sins does not Save you.

Your Sorrow for your Sins, makes you realize you are a Lost Sinner. Realizing you are a Sinner shows you that you are Guilty of Breaking God’s Law.

1st John 3:4 “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.”

To be Saved:

You have to realize that you are a Sinner.

There is No Amount of Sorrow For Your Sins that you Need to Have. You must Only Realize / Acknowledge that you are a Sinner. To Understand you are a Sinner, Lost, Deserving to Die and go to Hell / The Lake of Fire. You must realize you are not righteous (Good enough to Save yourself).

The Reason for this, is because to Be Saved you have to Realize that you are Lost, in Need of a Savior, in Need of Jesus to Save you.

Romans 3:10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”

God’s Law requires Justice. The Penalty for Sin is Death.

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Jesus paid the Penalty for all of our Sins. Jesus Died, was Buried, and he Rose again on the 3rd day to Save us from Hell.

1st Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Romans 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. {in due time: or, according to the time} 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. {atonement: or, reconciliation} 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: {for that: or, in whom} 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. 16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. 17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) {by one man’s…: or, by one offence} 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. {by the offence…: or, by one offence} {by the righteousness…: or, by one righteousness} 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

To be Saved from Hell: Believe on Jesus Only to Save you. Ask Jesus to Save you.

Romans: 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Jesus Thank You. I Owe You Everything.

Can You Say, Jesus, Thank You. I Owe You Everything. And Mean It?

12 With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.

13 To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever: 14 And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for ever:

1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

If you are a Christian You should be Thankful For Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Holidays cause depression. Thanksgiving. Christmas. Easter. Birthdays. New Year’s.

Traditional events shared with Family and Friends bring tears and crying.

People we Loved have Died.  We miss them. We think back on the Happy Times we Shared with them and cry because they are no longer with us.

You might be completely ALONE, with no one to share your Life with.

These days have not always been full of Joy and Happiness which gives us bad memories.

How do we prevent depression? How do we Enjoy Days that Everyone Else is Celebrating?

Live everyday being Thankful for Jesus. Knowing how much Jesus suffered for us will put everything into perspective.

With Jesus In You, You can Be Happy. You Should Be Happy.

Jesus suffered more in his 33 year life than any other person. Jesus watched as his Disciples ran away from him. Judas B with a Kiss. He saw Peter Deny him. On the Cross God the Father left him alone to suffer bleed and die.  Yet Jesus endured all of this and more. He rose from the Grave to Save mankind from the penalty of their Sins.

Jesus Is Always There For You. He Will Never Leave You.

Romans 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

True Joy is spending time with Jesus. Rejoice, Praise Jesus for your Salvation.

The Greatest Joy in Life is Being Saved. Knowing You Will Be Going to Heaven to be with Jesus.

Habakkuk 3:18 “Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.”

Philippians 4:4 “Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.”

Psalms 46:1…God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

I am Thankful everyday for Jesus.

Jesus Suffered, Bled and Died for me…. He took my place, Dying for All of my Sins. He Paid The Price for All of my Sins.

Jesus has a purpose for me so I am Thankful for my Salvation and that Jesus wants to use me.

If you do Cry, and are Sad, know that Jesus Cried in the Bible. He Cried for Lazaras, for Jerusalem.

Luke 19:41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,

42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,

44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;

46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.

47 And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,

48 And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.

Jesus cried when Lazarus died.

John 11:32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.

33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,

34 And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.

35 Jesus wept.

36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!

37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?

38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.

40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. 42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.

43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.

46 But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.

Jesus Loves Everyone of Us. He Cries for us. Jesus Wept for Lazarus. Jesus Loved Lazarus.

Yes, it is OK to be Sad, to Cry. But do not be consumed by your Grief, your Sorrow.

In the Bible Jesus was full of sorrow. He cried. But he did not let his sorrow, his tears, control him. He quickly moved on from crying and sorrow and went back to his work.

Jesus Life was full of suffering. Jesus suffered for us.

Isaiah 53:3 “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.”

Being Emotional is Normal. Put everything into perspective. Do not let sorrow control you.

Jesus suffering gave us Salvation. Understand that Jesus Rose from the Dead which completed his Atonement for all of our Sins.

Jesus Resurrection is Joyous.

Everything that causes us to suffer in this Life has a purpose. All of our suffering will be Turned into Joy. We will spend Eternity in Heaven with Jesus.

The Bible Tells us to Rejoice. So Please always Rejoice and be Thankful. Enjoy Everyday.

Luke 10:20 “Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”

Psalms 97:12 “Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.”

1 Peter 1:8 “Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:”

Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Our Lives are suppose to full of Joy because of Jesus. Jesus Thank You, I Owe You Everything.

Please Believe and Share the Gospel.

1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

What Is God’s Will For Your Life?

Life is Short. It is Important to know. What God’s Will is for our Life.

People when they are Young tend to Waste their Lives. Not realizing how Shot Life is. The Bible tells us What God’s Will is For Our Lives.

Do not take Life for granted.

Life is Short. Please do not waste your Life. If you talk with people who are 50 or older. Many will tell you. That they have wasted Most of their Life. If you are a Christian. You need to ask yourself. What is God’s Will for my Life. The Bible contains God’s will for your Life.

James 4:13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:

14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Life is Short. Even if you Live to 120 that is Short. Because after a person gets to around 20. Life starts to Speed up a lot.

Each decade the older you get. Life goes by faster for you. Think back when you were a child. Just one day seemed to last forever. In your teen years. Days get faster. And before you know it. The week is over.

We are not guaranteed to live past the next second. So we should not be boastful. Of what our lives will be like in the future. “After I get my Master’s degree. I will be able to get the job I want. The house I want and the spouse I want etc.” We should have goals. While understanding nothing in our lives is guaranteed.

A lot of people set high goals for their lives. And they exceed them. They live into their late 90’s. And get to see their Grand children’s children grow up.

The Books of Psalms, Proverbs and Ecclesiastics. Are full of cautions about life. And warnings about Wasting your Life.

Psalms 102:3 For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.

4 My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.

5 By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.

6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.

7 I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.

8 Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.

9 For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,

10 Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.

11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.

12 But thou, O Lord, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.

Ecclesiastics Chapter 3 tells us the seasons in Life.

Ecclesiastics 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?

10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

12 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.

13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.

14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

16 And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.

17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.

20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

22 Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?

Ecclesiastics is the most real straightforward book in the Bible.

“…for all is vanity.” If you ever get to thinking you are all that. And need a dose of reality. Just read the book Ecclesiastics. And it will set you straight.

God does not want us to be living our lives consumed with DEATH. He wants us to have good lives. He wants us to Love and to serve him.

Life can be Exciting, Fun, and Rewarding. As a Christian. We should not. Live our lives. To maximize all the fun time wasters. Many Hours in front of a TV daily. Being Lazy. Spending too much time. Playing or watching sports. Chasing the opposite sex, etc.

We should. Read and study our Bible’s daily. Be Evangelists. Pass out Tracts. Take part in Church Ministries. Spread the Gospel online, on social media. If you have a Spouse, Children spend as much quality time together as possible.

Jesus instructions for how we Should and Should Not Live our Lives.

Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Always Look to Jesus to find God’s Will for your Life.

The Gospels are full of Jesus teaching. On his will for our lives. Jesus is always encouraging the Disciples. He teaches them. Corrects them. Gives them Hope for Eternal Life in Heaven with Him. Hope and Encouragement comes from Jesus.

John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

2nd Corinthians 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. 2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

We are Saved by Believing the Gospel.

1st Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
